Construction They are supplied endless or with mechanical joints and can be provided with cleats and longitudinal tracking guides. Our mesh belts are specifically developed for the food industry by our R & D division, and can also be based on the customer s project. Our mesh belts are characterized by the application of polyester edges, thanks to which they can be used at peak performance, because they are not subject to the limitations caused by the more common PVC or PU edges. Construction The subtle weaving of this belt allows to transport the product over ventilated surfaces without product abrasion. Ideal in applications for product washing. Our new manufacturing technique allows us to eliminate the waves commonly affecting this kind of belts, once the conveyor belt is mounted with the minimum working tension. Our mesh belts are characterized by the application of polyester edges, thanks to which they can be used at peak performance, because they are not subject to the limitations caused by the more common PVC or PU edges. 7

Sewed Edges for PPS mesh belt PPS mesh belts can be finished with sewed edges made of high performance material to work at high temperature as the PPS mesh belt itself. Edges can be made of special compounds of Kevlar + teflon (see figure A) or in Fiberglass + teflon (see figure B). The edges are sewed with special wire in kevlar + teflon. Profile guides replacement Polinamic Service: a useful and quick way to have damaged parts of your belts repaired or replaced. In the machine harvesting sector, Polinamic offers a service of periodic replacement of guides on belts for Gregoire, Ero, and Imeca harvesters. Belts have a high mechanical wear resistance: profile guides usually wear out before the belt. By observing the profile guides it is possible to better understand the belt s working conditions (asymmetrical consumption of the profile guides between the right and the left side, on both sides, internal side vs external side of each profile). If the total height of the profile guide has reduced too much, the pulley will start to cut the surface of the belt and, eventually, will also cut the internal belt piles. In this case the belt will be considerably weakened and will need replacing. For this reason it is advisable to periodically check the consumption of the profile guides. As soon as the remaining height is too small, it is necessary to replace the profile guides. A periodic check and substitution of the profile guides extend the life of the belt. 19

Conveyor belts for olives Belts specifically designed for the transportation of olives. The original design, developed by Polinamic s R&D, optimizes the olives transportation phase by increasing the capacity and improving the drainage of fluids compared to conventional conveyors. They are made of solid woven fabric, with long life impregnation treatment on the driving surface. FDA 20

Conveyor belts for cherries PVC conveyor belt for cherries, with separators. The belt is typically installed upstream of the cluster cutter (grading machine) and has been developed for mounting on automatic machines from GP graders or similar. Our conveyor belt for cherries has a skim PVC layer on the running (lower) side to protect the inside of the belt itself from infiltration and absorption of water and impurities. Thanks to a special chemical treatment, our belt has a longer life cycle. The belt s hardness and greater resistance allow for a lower need of paste and consequent reduction of production costs. According to the results of laboratory tests and the users feedback (*), estimated production is of about 1,000,000 plates for each belt. Thanks to the belt s life cycle s prolongation, frequency of replacement for each belt can be once a week or every second week (in function of production capacity), compared to the almost daily of traditional cotton belts.
