The kit allows you to quickly and easily adjust upwards or downwards the force within your springs. The kit is also supplied in a briefcase for on site use. Portable De-Gassing Kit (Portatac Kit) Accurately reduce the force in any of our Compression & Tension Springs, Dampers or Gate Closers If you are unsure of the exact force requirements for each spring please make us aware at the me of purchase. We can then supply a spring to maximum pressure so that you may slowly and simply reduce the pressure using our Portable De-pressurising Kit. The kit simply a aches to the valve block on the end of the spring allowing you to read the bar pressure within the spring. Using the release screw you can gently let gas out un l you reach the appropriate force for your applica on. Replacing a British gas spring Bespoke when required SERVICES If you are replacing a British Gas Spring then the product should be clearly labelled and by simply quoting the product reference batch number and part number we will be able to offer a quote for a replacement unit. Replacing an alternative manufacturers gas spring If you are replacing an alternative gas spring then there are a number of options available: Let us know the manufacturers part number and we can try to offer a like for like replacement. If your requirements are not met by any of the products in this range then please contact us to discuss free bespoke spring design. We have manufactured springs from 40mm - 3000mm in length and capacities upto 10kN.
