The Company Lever Arm Ball Valves - Full Bore F x F Series 8 2014 sees Flowfl ex Components celebrate its 60th year in business. Established in 1954 the Flowfl ex name has been synonymous with the manufacture and supply of high quality non-ferrous plumbing fi ttings for use with all applications in the plumbing and heating trade. Since 1977 the company has operated from a single 6 acre site with easy access to international road, rail, sea and air links. Based in Derbyshire, in the heart of the United Kingdom, Flowflex provides its customers with a comprehensive product portfolio; supplying a wide range of compression; copper and copper alloy plumbing fi ttings and valves in a variety of confi gurations and sizes. The manufacturing facilities cover hot press forging and an array of machining centres in the manufacture of the brass components. Recent investment in new plant and new developments in the internal sales offi ce, IT, order processing and distribution have all been undertaken to ensure the quality of service and support to customers is continually improved. For 60 years the well established Flowfl ex brand names have enjoyed an enviable reputation for product quality, reliability and service. Today products are not only sold throughout Europe but also to other major markets in the Middle East and Far East. Flowfl ex continues to demonstrate its ability to supply consistently high quality components by its ISO 9001:2008 accreditation. Customers can be reassured as products are independently tested and certifi ed to ensure they comply with British and International Standards; and where appropriate, Flowfl ex holds a number of specifi c product approvals for the fi ttings and valves supplied. Gate Valve ranges are WRAS approved and are manufactured to meet UK and international standards, BS 5154. Compression Ends on the valves supplied are manufactured and tested to meet UK and international standards, BS EN 1254-2.
