The Motor Mouth From the President s Saddle By Todt Clark It s CCBR Beemer BASH Time!! It s almost here. Your CCBR Beemer BASH is just a couple weeks away. BASH Chairman, Jon Beining, has been working feverishly to make this another great year for attendees of the BASH. Word around town is that he even untucked his shirt is his frenzy to provide you with a wonderful riding and social experience. If you ve put off registering, there s still time to pre-register and assure yourself a BASH pin and meals at the event. Just go HERE to register. It s your one-stop click to three wonderful days in gorgeous Quincy! This year s BASH features a very special opportunity for attendees. CCBR Past President, Bob Kuykendall, has details on Page 3 in this issue of EN. In short, there will be five vintage BMW s for sale including a 1966 R90S with a sidecar. There will also be bins of BMW parts including New Old Stock still in the packaging! Don t miss this once in a lifetime opportunity. For those not content with simply riding your BMW on the street, the BASH will once again feature a GS ride for those inclined to get dirty. Phil James led a contingent of Dirt Donkeys into the Plumas National Forest the last weekend in August to scout trails for this year s ride. From what I remember, the riding and scenery were spectacular. If you ride a GS and want to get some dirt experience with a friendly and knowledgeable bunch, consider joining us on the Saturday of BASH for an unforgettable few hours of shenanigans. page number 2
