The longevity of each and every one of these trailers, reinforces this foundation, with many of the orginal trailers being passed onto 3rd generation farmers in the Sugar Industry. The design philisophy is clear in the selection of material and focus on building machines that last.

3 The trailers running gear, developed with the early trailers, is still used today, which is a testimony to the orginal design. It s unique geometry allows the walking beam to glide over obsticales with ease. The robust pivot point assembly is designed with varying load conditions in mind. Our designers understand that the trailers react very differently in the unladen and laden conditions and they have ensured the entire trailer is built to with stand the vibrational and direct leads unique to trailers. In order to optimise load carrying capability of the tractor, trailer combination, we have carefully balanced the load across all axles, including that of the tractor. This allows us to ensure maximum traction, as well as maximum payload in the safest possible way. The tractor s hitch positioned forward of the rear axle means we utilise transferred load from the trailers to improve both steering and tractor.

Designed to provide weight transfer with better turning capability, the QTH has rebust hinging approximately in line with the back of the rear wheels.
