The Urea system should have a gauge in the dash that indicates the level of urea in the reservoir. b. Urea system to have a pump so that when truck is shut off the urea in the lines will be pumped back into the reservoir. c. Urea reservoir must be heated amp alternator- brushless with Voltage Regulator. (Note: Remote Sense is not available or needed.) Battery box must come with three (3) batteries installed with a minimum of 2100 cold cranking amps, 700 per battery. All battery cable that runs from battery box to engine starter must be free of splices, secured and clamped and where ever battery cables are ran through holes or over sharp edges, the cables must be protected with anti-chafe wrap or grommets. a. Steel battery box will be accepted as long as it is powder coated inside and outside and has plastic liners, with aluminum cover and battery hold downs. b. Disconnect switch mounted next to drive seat will be accepted. c. Jump start studs must be provided and accessible. 2. The hydraulic pressure line to be made up with Denison relief valve. 3. R5P, a Denison vent valve VV01 with 12-volt DC in line mounted solenoid which divert the flow back to tank when pump is not engaged, and finally a flow control Denison C5V which divert the excess flow back to tank over 45-gpm. a. Dan Foss will be accepted in place of Denison 4. Factory trained instructor for training on hydraulic system at Fleet Maintenance facility. 5. Hydraulic system composed of two (2) vane pumps, one (1) for the body functions and one (1) for the arms. Pumps have a common suction port. 6. The pump is a Denison T6 DC. 7. Maximum flow for the body is 700-rpm. a. Radial piston pump is approved and if used the maximum flow shall be 30-gpm - Max 8. Maximum flow for the arms is 700-rpm. a. Radial piston pump is approved and if used the maximum flow for arms shall be 16- gpm - Max 9. The pressure relief valve for the body is 3000-PSI max. 10. Reservoir capacity for cab over -71-gallons US. 11. The hydraulic reservoir to be equipped with magnetic drain plug, oil level sight gauge and shutoff valve in suction line and check valve on return. 12. The return line filter capacity gpm. 13. All pipe shall be zinc coated to prevent corrosion. a. Stainless Steel is approved 23. All hydraulic hoses to conform to S.A.E standards for designed pressure. Bends are not less than recommended by S.A.E standards. 24. Hydraulic system operates at an acceptable temperature without the need for external hydraulic oil cooling device. 25. Quick disconnect fittings are provided so that a pressure gauge can be easily connected without the tools or the need to remove hydraulic fittings. All hydraulic hoses over drive shaft or in frame rails must be clamped and secured correctly. 26. High flex hydraulic hoses to be used at hinge point. PTO (FRONT ENGINE MOUNT): 1. Over speed protection Electronic programmed PTO should be programmed to disengage above normal PTO operation which will be set by OEM or Body Manufacturer. FEPTO mounted with drive line direct to front of engine. Always on with dump valve. Setup to divert the excess flow when not in use. 2. PTO should be programmed to disengage above 15-MPH. 3. Engine should regen in PTO mode while packer cylinders are in operation. 4. Light in control panel showing that PTO is on. BODY LIFTING MECHANISM: 1. The hoist cylinder shall be front mounted with outer cover and bottom lifting for greater stability of the tipped body. a. Dual frame mounted hoist cylinders are approved. Page 13 of 19

Right or lefthand side loading is controlled by a in cab toggle switch on joystick box. Cart tippers are unacceptable. There is to be no kick out of arm when dumping container. 2. Minimum bin size accepted of the lifting mechanism - 32-gallons US, and maximum is 95- gallons US. 3. Maximum lifting capacity at maximum reach is 400-pounds 4. Vertical dump height - 89-inches 5. Maximum horizontal reach from side to side of vehicle 84-inches 6. Minimum horizontal reach from side of vehicle - 0-inches 7. All stop, directional, tail and clearance lights to be LED. 2. Sealed, recessed mounted and watertight and all bulbs and electrical connections to be assembled and installed with dielectric grease. Limit switches to be heavy-duty, industrial type, water tight with adjustable arm and over travel to prevent damage 7. All circuits to be properly fused and wiring is color coded and numbered. All wiring splices to be soldered and heat shrink tubing required. All electrical plugs in harness to be sealed. If there are inline fuses in electrical harnesses they must be clearly marked and wiring diagram to show their location. a. Stamped with function will be accepted. Prefer the color coded. 8. Wiring must conform to S.A.E J1128. All wiring ran through holes should be grommeted and anti-chafe used where wiring goes over sharp area. All hydraulic hoses and electrical harnesses that are close to high heat must have heat resistant shielding. 9. Exposed wire looms, hydraulic lines/hoses and auto-lube lines on top, sides and tailgate must be clamped up, secured and guarded to protect from damage due to tree limbs or other objects. 10. Hopper cameras must be mounted on back wall at top of hopper roof for clearance of garbage cans being dumped and guarded. Camera mounted on right side must view hopper and camera mounted on left side must view right arm. These cameras must be guarded. Parts, service and troubleshooting manuals must be provided. 11. Rear camera mounted on tailgate below strobe guarded. 12. Complete guard coverings over work lights, and strobe light so they are not broken by tree limbs or other objects. Guards are also needed for exterior hoses or lines on top and sides of body and tailgate. 13. Exposed wire looms on top of bodies need to be covered and guarded so there is no damage due to tree limbs or other objects. Along with auto-lube system grease tubing. 14. Strobe Mounted in center of tailgate with the camera and guarded. 15. Work Lights Mounted on front wall of hopper section near the top and not to interfere with camera, lighting hopper and arm operation for both arms. Work lights must be guarded. 16. The electric joystick to be installed in cab. LUBRICATION: Automatic self-lube system: (Lincoln or Lube Core). Install auto lube system for complete automated refuse collection body, using high strength tubing and guards where possible, and high strength fittings. Page 15 of 19

16 1. Where impossible to connect automatic self-lube system, grease zerks must be installed. Please provide grease chart for these zerks. 2. Repair kit must be provided for automatic self-lube system, including fittings, grease line splices and grease line. To include: 12 of each fitting connections with clamps if used, 25- feet of line, and 12 line splices with clamps. 3. Tool to refill system must be provided. 4. All body hinges, cylinder base trunnions and pivot points are to be supplied with grease fittings. 5. All packer grease fittings shall be readily accessible. 6. A grease chart to be supplied ACCESSORIES: 1. Camera Equipment: Units shall be equipped with three (3) cameras, one (1) is mounted on tailgate under strobe light, and two (2) are mounted on the ceiling over the hopper next to the rear wall. One of the two cameras will need to be mounted on the ceiling on the right side viewing the right arm, and one on the left side viewing the hopper. (picture of camera locations at the end of specifications.) When using expanded metal for guards, it must be cut for camera lens for no view obstruction. 2.
