6 Maintenance and Repair of ITSF Generator Mounts Check all transformers, fuses, capacitors, and lightening arrestors for loose mounts or physical damage 28 Lead Wiring Inspection Check lead wires and electrical connections for proper clearance and spacing 29 Ciean Clean the inside of the outlet box, air screens, bearing housings and air baffles with compressed air and electricai solvent 30 Megger Check insulation resistance to ground on ail machine windings: Main Rotating Assembly, Main Stator Assembly, Stator and PMG Stationary Fields, Exciter Armature Assembly, and Rotating Diodes. 31 Heaters Check space heaters for proper operation 32 Air Gap Check and record generator air gap readings 33 Armature Check exciter armature for proper rectifier connection tightness 34 Generator Interior Inspection Visually inspect winding for oil, grease, dirt, or contamination.
