6 1840 Nash County Federal Census 1850 Nash County Federal Census 3 Sept 1850, page 573/287, after the John Poland (556/38) and John Boon (557/39) households 552/558/40 Eli Crumpley 55 M Farmer Mary 54 F Mary 20 F Milana 15 F Part of Wilson County was formed from part of Nash County in 1855; Pridgen Driver was on the same census page in 1850 and he died about 1861 in Wilson County; John and Martha Boon were on the same 1850 census page and they were in Wilson County in 1860; Eli and Mary Crumpler were in Wilson County in 1860; they lived in a part of Nash County that became part of Wilson County in The map on the left shows Nash, Edgecombe, Johnston and Wayne counties in 1852; the map on the right shows Wilson County in 1855 after it was formed from those four counties. The south side of Sapony Creek was the area between Sapony Creek-east and Sapony Creek-west. See Sapony Creek lands for a map. 6
