Whether bar stock or other long goods, stacks of sheet metal or palletized goods, tooling or fixtures the TowerMat meets many demands and can be optimized to fit perfectly in your operation. Long goods INTERTEX long goods storage systems are specially adapted to long materials. Over 40 years of solutions in storing long pipes, steel bars, long profiles- ask us, we've done it! INTERTEX TowerMat has provided cassettes capable of loads up to 12, 500 mm (41 feet) and weights up to 5 t (10,000 lbs). Sheet stock Sheet metal can be difficult to handle, but not for the TowerMat. An ingenious cassette design meets the challenge while providing maximum density, 100% selectivity, improved safety, and allowing use of existing handling equipment. Cassettes can handle sheets up to 2,000 mm (78.8") by 4,000 mm (157.5"), with weights to 5 t (10,000 lbs). Tooling, Pallets, Crates, other TowerMat vertical lifts can be loaded with nearly any kind of material. 22 INTERTEX Controls and Software Solutions Powerful and easy to use controls for warehousing. Modern microprocessors in our INT-TC71 and INT-DSC1 controls allow simple cassette requests or sophisticated inventory system integration when coupled with Warehouse Management software. Controls INTERTEX offers two primary controls, the INT-DSC1 and INT-TC71. Whether there is one load/unload station or eight, state-of-the-art graphics with hot keys and large icons simplify machine interaction. Simple cassette selection via numeric keypad or a part number request and inventory management through the touch screen operation of the INT-TC71 is possible. Comprehensive built in diagnostics (in multiple languages) and additional telephone support keep the machine running smooth. Options include: Password protect your work station(s), Cassette width/depth displays (with part number) for faster and accurate part pulls and inventory management. Scales can be incorporated into the load/unload station, this facilitates weighing parts for accurate verification during Inventory Cycle Counts and prevents overload of the cassette. PC-Software INTERTEX offers a separate software package for inventory management and a network ready package with capabilities to interface to existing ERP/WMS systems. PC based, and called simply: INTERTEX Warehouse Management (INT-WM), it serves as a stand alone article/part number inventory management package (vs. calling only by cassette number). A serial connection between the control and the PC allows communication directly to the machine from the PC keyboard. The INT-TC71 also offers a TCP based connection. If an ERP system or Warehouse Management System is in place, customers can purchase the "INTERTEX Query Server" and INTERTEX Software Technicians will assist to create a seamless communication link between the TowerMat controller and the existing host.
