6 OBO TYRES OBO TYRES IS A PRODUCT OF HOLLAND We are true retreading professionals and devote a lot of time and effort in product quality. We use the best European rubber and R&D is continuously performed to improve our solutions. With our modern and well equipped plant our specialist employees create the top quality retreads as requested by the market. PREPARATION The first step in the retreading process is the inspection of the casing because it is important to determine the strength and retreadability of a tyre. After approval the old tread is removed up to the canvas. This peeling & buffing process is work for professionals because the new tread must be well attached. After that all damages and irregularities are removed and repaired. Now the tyre is ready to be retreaded. 6 OBO TYRES

7 PRE-CURE In the Pre-Cure retreading process the application of the new tread is performed without a curing mould. The tyre is put together using a pre-shaped tread and binding layer. Advantages: Lower investment required compared to Hot-Cure tyres. Better suitable for smaller production numbers. Less harmful to the carcass compared to Hot-Cure. Custom made tyres, many treads available in any size. HOT-CURE The Hot-Cure retreading technique is very similar to the manufacturing process of a new tyre. The tread profile is being formed in a mould, and after this process the tyre appears to be new. Advantages: Hot-Cure tyres have a cosmetic advantage, they appear to be brand new. Hot-Cure allows extensive repairs to be carried out on the carcass. The tread joints are not visible. Perfectly suitable for larger order batches. OBO TYRES 7

8 REPAIR Repairs to damaged tyres can be performed on the tread, sidewall and bead area, enabling it to fulfil the rest of its life in service. Using only the best materials, a sustainable safe and cost-efective solution is guaranteed. OBO Tyres is the specialist for the restoration of unevenly worn treads and thus maximize comfort, traction and lifetime. New non-tailor made tyres can be too aggressive for particular application. Especially lawns for golf courses or sports fields have to be protected from harmful cut or tread marks. For those tyres that are too sharp in the shoulder area or when the height of the lug causes too deep marks in the sensitive lawn, shoulder rounding and lug reducing are perfections options. 39 CONDITIONS All prices are recommended retail prices in euros. The prices do without notice not include the casing or new tyre, VAT and transport costs. In the Netherlands transport costs will be charged for orders with a net amount lower than 300 Euros. In Belgium transport costs will be charged for orders with a net amount lower than 400 Euros. In Germany transport costs will be charged for orders with a net amount lower than 600 Euros. For the transport costs to other countries please ask our sales department. The warranty periode comes with 3 years on the retreading and 1 year on the casing. Additional casings or new tyres can be supplied, provided we have them in stock.
