2 NEW MULTIFUNCTION BRUSHCUTTER DS 2400 D The new DS 2400 D brushcutter is designed to meet the needs of DIY users for private gardens and professionals responsible for maintenance of green spaces around condominiums, residential complexes and resorts. Both user groups can benefit enormously from a multipurpose tool that can be quickly set up as a brushcutter, hedgetrimmer, pruner or leaf blower. The same compact and light weight engine unit together with a notools coupling system for mounting the various attachments, makes this tool easy to use in all seasons: cutting the grass and trimming hedges in spring or pruning duties and leaf blowing during the autumn months. Each application with the exception of the brushcutter, which is supplied as standard with the engine unit is managed separately and can be purchased after purchasing the basic tool as the need arises. Users can also order an extension that increases the length of the drive tube to allow the tool to reach higher hedges or loftier branches: this makes it possible to dispense with the need for impractical ladders or access platforms. 3 Hedgetrimmer PRUNER Practical and manoeuvrable thanks to an optimal ratio between weight and balance; 12 adjustment positions make it possible to change the angle of the blades to adapt them to match your needs. The 0.9 metre shaft enables the operator to trim hedges up to 3 metres high. Versatile application that makes it possible to prune branches and bushes of all types of up to 3 metres in height, ensuring healthy growth and vegetation. The pruner can be adjusted through 5 intermediate positions from 0 a 90 to allow a better view of the cutting area. The no-tools quick attachment system makes it possible to switch between applications rapidly and with just a few actions, while also reducing space requirements for transportation and storage. Fitting the 0.75 metre extension shaft makes it possible to increase the length of the drive tube in order to reach taller hedges and branches (recommended for the pruner and hedgetrimmer applications). On/off switch: returns automatically to the on position after each stop (always on). Filter support with carburettor anti-backflow element (Emak patent): prevents the filter from becoming fouled by fuel and guarantees longer operation between filter maintenance operations. Easy on device: composed of a double spring in the starter cover combined with driver with two ratchets means reduced force with each pull and fast starting with fewer rope pulls.
