1 Freedom of Information Request Reference N o : FOI I write in connection with your request for information received by Suffolk Constabulary on the 8 November 2017 in which you sought access to the following information: 1. How much money is owed by non-british citizens/ cars not registered to the DVLA for speeding offences committed between 1 st January 2012 and 30 th September 2017? Please break this data up by year. E.g. 1/1/12 31/12/ Please, if possible, detail what the offences are. Response to your Request The response provided below is correct as of 8 November 2017 Suffolk Constabulary has considered your request for information and the response is below. The Constabulary is unable to identify the number of Non-British Citizens who have been sent a conditional offer of a fixed penalty and have yet to pay. We are unable to record on our systems those cars not registered with the DVLA, therefore they would not generate a fine or fixed penalty. We can however confirm the number of fixed penalty notices or fines cancelled, as a result of them being a foreign visitor: Offence 2012 Exceed 70mph dual carriageway 21 Exceed speed limit for goods vehicle - manned equipment 3 Excess Speed - 30mph Restricted Road 42 Excess Speed - 40mph 6 Excess Speed - 50mph 39 Excess Speed - 50mph - ACD 18 Grand Total 129 Offence 2013
