This Francis Barnett has formed part of a small private collection. It was purchased as a project by the vendor in 2009 and since then he has rebuilt the bottom end of the engine. The remainder of the bike is presented in original condition and requires further restoration. RF60, V5C, MOT and tax exempt See illustration Sold for A circa 1960/61 Triumph Tiger Cub, black. This Tiger Cub has formed part of a large private collection in recent years. Unfortunately there is not any accompanying paperwork with the machine but it has recently benefited from rebuilt wheels and a recovered seat. An ideal restoration project which is ripe for further improvement. No accompanying paperwork. See illustration Sold for A 1999 Honda Sky SGX50 scooter, registration number T874 PDG, red. With 7,500 believed miles from new, this retro styled scooter passed its last MOT on 2nd August 2013 and has been in storage since. The scooter comes to auction with a history file containing MOTs, receipts and the supplying dealers wallet with owner's manuals. V5C, no MOT See illustration Sold for A 1957 Phillips Gadabout moped, registration number 971 UYJ, red. Phillips were part of the Raleigh group and had a small presence in the moped market during the 50s and 60s. This Gadabout is offered for auction in unrestored condition. V5C, MOT and tax exempt See illustration 24 A 1980 Yamaha SA50 Passola scooter, registration number JWV 175W, yellow. With 369 believed miles from new, this Yamaha moped has been dry stored and unused since its last MOT (expired October 2009). It comes to auction with past MOTs, warranty and service log and owner's handbook. V5C, no MOT See illustration Sold for A circa 1956 Panther 10/3 restoration project, red. This Panther is described by the vendor as a good project for someone. The frame appears to have been resprayed at some point and would appear to be complete in all major respects. At the time of our inspection the 197cc Villiers engine have been removed, but accompanies the motorcycle. The Panther is accompanied by a dating letter from Panther Owners Club confirming the year as Unregistered, MOT and tax exempt See illustration Sold for A 1956 Ariel VH500 road racer, registration number 965 UYE, maroon. This VH500 was campaigned by Miki Sprosen in BHR meetings as part of Team Wildcard Racing. It has an age related registration, so in theory it could be used on the road under daylight MOT rules. This race proven bike, which is running on methanol, has not been run since February 2015, and will require some fettling before returning to race duties. It is offered for auction with a history file containing a copy of an Ariel motorcycle dating certificate from the Ariel Owners Club, correspondence from the Club and photocopies of

various magazine articles. V5C, MOT and tax exempt See illustration Sold for A 1952 Indian Brave, registration number NSV 906, red. Indian were renowned for their large V twin motorcycles, also produced a smaller 250cc side valve engined machine, which was manufactured by Brockhouse Engineering of Southport (the makers of the Corgi). The Brave had the 250cc side value engine, which remained in production until the mid-1950s, and ceased production when the company was taken over by Royal Enfield. This rare machine has performed part of a large collection of motorcycles in recent years, and has been kept in dry storage. The vendor informs us that the motorcycle was last used in 2014, when it was said to be running well. Unfortunately, the vendor has lost the key but a replacement should be available through the Owners' Club. During his ownership, the motorcycle has benefited from a new exhaust pipe and is now only for sale due to the owner's ill health. V5C, MOT and tax exempt See illustration Sold for A 1960 Royal Enfield Meteor Minor, registration number 134 RPK, red. A rare motorcycle in period and now an even rarer sight on today's roads, as the Meteor Minor never had the appeal of its rivals 500cc twins. It featured an over square 496cc overhead valve vertical twin engine with separate light alloy cylinder heads and an Albion four speed gearbox. It was more than capable of keeping up with the competition and had a very respectable top speed of 98 mph when new. This Meteor Minor comes to auction from a deceased's estate. It would appear in good condition but it is not known when the machine was last used, and to this end it is advised that the motorcycle will require re-commissioning and the usual safety checks before being ridden. V5C, no MOT, tax exempt See illustration Sold for A 1955 Norton ES2, registration number UWA 967, frame number K , engine number K461174, silver. This ES2 was originally sold by Dan Bradbury Motorcycle Ltd of London Road Sheffield, to its first registered keeper a Mr R Turner who was also a resident in the city. The Norton has been in the vendor's care since 1988 and was purchased as a restoration project (there is a note on file that states that it was in several boxes!) having rebuilt the motorcycle the machine was used regularly but sparingly, and there are MOTs on file which shows that the Norton has travelled approximately 1,000 miles since The vendor informs us that Norton is running but now requires some TLC and general fettling. The accompanying history file contains past MOTs and a Norton Owner's Club dating letter. The Norton is to be offered for auction without any reserve. RF60, V5, V5C, MOT and tax exempt See illustration Sold for A 1978 BMW R100/7, registration number WHK 734S, frame number , engine number , blue. This BMW is the second motorcycle to be offered from the collection from the late Squadron Leader Peter Henley. The motorcycle was purchased by Peter from Difazio Motorcycles, an

independent BMW dealer in Frome Somerset. As was Peter's way there is a journal of expenditure and works carried out during his ownership. The accompanying history file contains receipts, expired MOTs and tax discs, the journal, handbooks, photographs, a Haynes manual and a magazine article. A well maintained machine which is fitted with BMW panniers and an after market fly screen. V5C, MOT to October 2015 See illustration Sold for A 1976 Honda CB400/Four, registration number OJA 636R, frame number CB400F , engine number CB400F-E , blue. Purchased by the late Squadron Leader Peter Henley on 7th July 1982 with a recorded mileage of 24,650 miles on the odometer and four previous owners. Peter was a very methodical man and there is a handwritten account of all repairs carried out from October 1983 to August 2008 when the Honda was taken off the road. The current recorded mileage is now 26,973 miles. The Honda is presented in very original condition and still retains its original exhaust. Having now been in storage since 2008 the motorcycle will require some recommissioning and the usual safety checks before taking to the road. The accompanying history file contains the log, expired MOTs, tax discs, a Haynes manual and photographs. V5C, no MOT See illustration Sold for A 2006 Triumph Bonneville T100, registration number HF56 EGJ, frame number SMTTJ9152G , engine number , black and cream. With 3,000 miles from new on the odometer, this T100 was purchased new by Peter Henley from Three Cross Motorcycles Ltd Wimborne, Dorset. This Triumph is hardly run in and is presented in excellent condition. It is fitted with the optional extras of Triumph leather panniers, fly screen, performance exhausts and grab rail. A fastidiously maintained machine, comes to auction with a history file containing the original bill of sale, handbooks, service book, brochures, receipts, expired MOTs (including its last MOT which expired on 1st September 2015), tax discs, a journal of maintenance and expenditure, SORNs and photographs. V5C, no MOT See illustration Sold for EXTRA LOT: A 1977 Ossa 250 Mick Andrews replica, registration number MOW 661R, black and white. This non-running project has recently had replaced shock absorbers and tyres, but requires further work. V5 See illustration A 1972 Norton Commando 750, registration number MGY 723L, frame number , engine number , green. Norton's Commando was launched in 1967, and featured a vibration beating Isolastic frame. The Commando was an instant hit with the motorcycling fraternity, and would be voted Motor Cycle News Machine Of The Year, on five consecutive years. The 750 parallel twin version would remain in production until 1973, when an enlarged 850 engine version would become available. The Commando 750 was purchased by the vendor in October 2004, having had three previous

owners. With a believed genuine 31,500 miles on the odometer, and the vendor only adding 1,500 of those in the last twelve years, this Commando has certainly been cherished by its four recorded keepers. The vendor rebuilt the Norton approximately two years ago, incorporating many stainless steel fittings, new verniers and a wiring loom. Approximately 500 miles have been added to the clock since the re-build, and it certainly sounded in rude heath on our inspection and started with the first kick. The Norton is offered with past MOTs, SORNS, tax discs and a workshop manual. V5C, no MOT See illustrations Sold for A 1951 Douglas 350 Mk V, registration number NKP 13, blue. BMW are normally associated with parallel twins, but Douglas were making flat twins a decade before BMW's offerings. The Douglas Mk Series of motorcycles were introduced after WWII with the Mk I debuting The Mk III and IV followed with the Mk V arguably the best of the lot becoming available in This 1951 example was originally registered to its first owner in Gillingham Kent. The Douglas would have several further owners who all resided in the Gillingham area. In the current vendor's ownership the motorcycle has recently had the carburettors refurbished and the top end of the engine rebuilt with new valves. The Douglas is offered with expired MOTs and tax discs. RF60, V5, V5C, MOT and tax exempt See illustrations Sold for A 1960 Triumph Tiger T100A, registration number TAS 256, black and silver saw the first unit construction engine, a major departure for Triumph as all other previous models had been pre-unit (separate gearbox and engine). The model would remain in production in various specifications until This early T100A has been restored by a previous owner. The vendor describes the motorcycle as being in beautiful condition. During his ownership of two years he has replaced the head stock bearings and used the Triumph sparingly adding only approximately 60 miles to the odometer. V5C, MOT to May 2016, tax exempt See illustration Sold for A 1933 AJS Model 33/2 996cc motorcycle combination, registration number HV 3075, frame number 688, engine number 33/ , silver and black. Entered to auction from a deceased estate this V-twin AJS was in the gentleman's ownership since The large V-twin was restored by him over a number of years but still requires some final fettling, including restoring the original sidecar chair. The engine has good compression and should only require a basic service before being fired up. There is unfortunately very little paperwork accompanying the motorcycle apart from a RF60, an MOT from 1961 issued by Kingsway Motors (Romford Ltd) and some correspondence between the deceased and the DVLA. Large engined pre WWII motorcycles are very popular in today's market and this AJS, which sports the same engine as installed in the contemporary Brough Superior side valve model, would be a great addition to any motorcycle

collection. RF60, V5, MOT and tax exempt See illustrations Sold for A 1949 BSA Bantam D1, registration number LKL 163, green and cream. This early Bantam features the telescopic front forks and rigid rear end frame, and has formed part of a private collection in recent years. V5C, MOT, tax exempt See illustration Sold for A 1963 Royal Enfield Crusader Sports, registration number 6940 BH, chrome and red. Introduced in 1959, the Crusader featured a 250cc engine with an alloy head, large valves, a performance camshaft, a revised crankshaft and a 7 inch front brake. From 1961, the engine compression ratio was increased from 5.5:1 to 8.75:1, which increased the top speed on the motorcycle to just over 80 mph. This revised version of the Crusader is from a deceased's estate. It would appear in good condition, but it is not known when the machine was last used, and so to this end, it is advised that the motorcycle will require re-commissioning and the usual safety checks before being ridden. V5C, no MOT, tax exempt See illustration Sold for A 1989 Yamaha TY250 trials, registration number F181 OFC, white and red. With less than 1000 km on the clock and only two registered keepers on the V5C, this TY250 comes to auction in original and unrestored condition. The Norton has been fitted with electronic ignition to aid reliability. There is some history accompanying the motorcycle, with receipts, past MOTs and a wiring diagram. RF60, V5C, no MOT, tax exempt See illustration Sold for A pre WWII Brennabor moped, green. This rare German lightweight is in need of restoration. The vendor describes the machine as being is very good condition and has been used to attend local shows during his ownership. The BSA is offered for auction with various receipts and expired MOTs. V5C, MOT and tax exempt See illustration 45 EXTRA LOT: A 1966 Honda CS92 Benly Sports, frame number C , engine number C92E , blue. Introduced in 1959 the model featured stylish upswept exhausts fitted with perforated heat shields and featured the 15 bhp ***four (not two) stroke*** engine which was capable of 75 mph when new. The CS92 was produced for less than two years and this example is in remarkably original and complete condition. We are advised by the vendor that the engine turns over without any untoward noises, but there is some damage to the seat cover, and in some places there is surface rust on the frame. Offered for auction without any documents this ultra rare early Honda represents possible a once in a lifetime opportunity to own such a machine. No accompanying paperwork. No accompanying paperwork See illustration Sold for A circa 1951 Peugeot 56 TC, frame No , beige and blue. No accompanying paperwork See illustration Sold for A 1966 BSA C15, registration number MPL 778D, red. This C15 has formed part of a large private collection and was used regularly at classic rallies up to 2014, at which point, it was put into dry storage and the vendor advises us that at that point, the machine was running well. It is offered for auction with its last expired MOT dated 14 December 2012, without any advisories. Due to its recent lack of use, it will now require the usual safety checks and general fettling before taking to the road once again. V5C, no MOT, tax exempt See illustration Sold for A 1966 Gilera Giubileo 150cc 5V Sport Extra, registration number FHJ 511D, yellow with bronze frame. This rare Gilera has formed part of a large private collection. It was last used in 2014, when the vendor informs us that it was running well. It benefits from an engine rebore, with new piston, which still requires further running in a five speed gearbox and alloy wheels. Its last MOT expired in ***May 2013 (not 2015)***, and now will require general fettling and the usual safety checks before passing its new MOT and taking to the road. It is now unfortunately, only reluctantly for sale due to the owner's ill health. V5C, no MOT, tax exempt See illustration Sold for A circa 1952 Peugeot 55 GLT twin port 125cc, blue. This rare lightweight motorcycle is offered for auction as an oily rag restoration project. The motorcycle would appear complete in all major respects. The engine turns over freely with good compression. No accompanying paperwork See illustration Sold for A 1966 BSA C15, registration number FOJ 881D, red. This C15 was purchased by the vendor in August 2014, to add to his large collection. At that time, the motorcycle was in everyday use, and the vendor informs us that there have been numerous new parts installed to the machine, including rebuilt wheels. This example has just been MOTd and is described by the vendor to be in good condition. The motorcycle has an accompanying history file with a receipt and expired MOTs. RF60, V5C, MOT to August 2016, tax exempt See illustration 72 A 1958 T.W.N. (Triumph Werke Nurnberg) Cornet, black. This rare German two stroke 198cc single has a very unusual engine incorporating twin pistons in the single cylinder and features electric start which is another very unusual feature for a late 1950s motorcycle. Having formed part of large collection of motorcycles this TWN has been in storage for the last two years but up until that point the vendor informs us that the machine was running well. The vendor now informs us that the machine will require general recommissioning after storage and a new battery will be required. The TWN is offered for auction with a list of parts fitted and owner's manual. RF60, MOT and tax exempt See illustration 73 A 1961 Velocette Venom, registration number YSV 594, frame number RS 16320, engine number VM5462, black. Introduced in 1956 the Venom would remain in production until 1971, and represents the very best of the British sports single tradition. These well engineered thorough-bred sports machines are just as highly praised and sought after today as they were in period. This particular example has been with the enthusiast vendor since He advises us that the Velocette is generally in good condition, but the engine is now in need of a rebuild with either a re-bore or re-sleeve. V5, V5C, no MOT, tax exempt See illustration Sold for A 1938 SOS DC, registration number PSJ 680, frame number DC 2019, engine number RYR 594, black and chrome. Since the restoration was completed the motorcycle has been on display and will require final fettling of the usual safety shake down before returning to the road. V5C, MOT and tax exempt See illustration ***Note: The vendor informs us that PSJ 680 will require new rear wheel bearings*** Sold for A 1948 Douglas 350 T35, registration YSV 337, frame number T35/S5648/S, silver and blue. There is a receipt on file for the overhaul of the carburettors dated 14/01/08 at a cost of This rare and unusual machine is offered for auction with past MOTs and a receipt and is to be sold without reserve. V5C, MOT and tax exempt See illustration Sold for A 1912 Pierce 3½ HP single, registration number LF 2227, frame number 4447, engine number 4284, dark blue. Pierce Arrow are normally associated with the manufacture of luxury cars in the first quarter of the 20th century. Their cars were of the highest quality and appealed to the same clientele as other prestige marques, such as Rolls Royce. Their motorcycles followed the same line and were both innovative and made to the highest standard. The Motorcycle Division was started by Percy Pierce, (George's son) in The first model, an inline four, was joined by a more conventional side valve single in 1910, both models featured the large diameter frame, which incorporated both petrol and oil tanks. Production of both models would cease in 1913, with the company going into receivership. The single cylinder example Charterhouse has the pleasure of offering for auction is a 1912 model with V belt drive, magneto ignition and two speed gearbox. Originally bought to England by a serving Canadian soldier, who would see service in WWI. The Pierce was subsequently registered in 1922, and the first recorded keeper was a Ronald Leslie Carpenter of Petersfield. There are two further keepers recorded in the RF60, both of which resided in the Hampshire area. The current vendor's family have owned the Pierce since An older restoration, which still presents very well, but is in need of some re-commissioning, since the machine has been stored for a few years. This previous Pioneer Run participant, is now reluctantly for sale due to the vendor's old age and faltering health. 16 less than 20,000, this RS is presented in very original condition. Having seen little use since its last MOT, which expired June 2015 and was passed without advisories. He also advises that the batteries will either need recharging or renewing due to the time in storage. The Prima is offered for auction with an original owner's manual and instruction book, plus a copy of a maintenance manual and an expired MOT (March 2013). This rare alternative to the contemporary Lambretta or Vespa is now reluctantly for sale due to the vendor's ill health. It featured on the front cover of the The Classic Motorcycle October/November 1982, and the The Vintage Motorcycle January 2007, whilst participating on the runs. Now reluctantly for sale due to a change in family circumstances, this extremely rare and much admired machine is offered for sale with a large history file containing photographs, an original owner's handbook and receipts. The 500cc motor produced 60 bhp (ten more than a GP Manx Norton) and was capable of 100 mph straight out of the crate. This particular H1 has been in the vendor's care since 2004 and there were five previous keepers. A genuine UK supplied bike with points ignition which was sold to the first owner by Russells, a Kawasaki dealership in Loughborough, Leicestershire. Originally registered on a L suffix, which the vendor believes was due to the motorcycle remaining unsold in the showroom for a couple of years. He has retrospectively registered the Kawasaki on a correct H suffix for the year. During his ownership the Kawasaki has been restored with an overhauled engine, having relined barrels on a standard bore, the barrels, heads and crank cases have been

vapour-blasted, the frame and all other black parts have been powder coated, the tank, side and engine covers were resprayed by Race Paint of Eastwood, Nottingham, the front fork stanchions were rechromed, as was the majority of the brightwork, and the exhaust and rear shocks were replaced with reproduction items. The speedometer and rev counters have also been recently overhauled. This iconic 1970s two stroke is now offered for auction with the original dealers handbook. V5C, MOT to April 2016, tax exempt See illustration Sold for A 1971 Norton Triton Red Devil, registration number 8515 ET, red. V5C, no MOT See illustration 84 A 1954 Panther M75, green and cream. This M75 was purchased by the vendor in 2002 from Bill Little Motorcycles as a basket case requiring full restoration, and has been fully restored to a high standard. The Panther has not been registered for the road since the restoration, but there is an accompanying expired tax disc on file from 1964 giving the registration for the motorcycle as SUP 173 and a dating letter from Panther Owners Club confirming the year as Having been stored and displayed since completing the restoration the vendor informs us that the Panther will require a general check over and the usual safety checks before use. Unregistered See illustration Sold for A 1948 Matchless G3L, registration number OSL 164, frame number 25921, engine number 48/G3L/7572B, black. The G3 found great favour with the British Army during WWII and by the time hostilities ceased in 1945 over 63,000 had been supplied. Post WWII the G3 would continue to be very successful on civvy street and would establish itself as one of the finest 350 trials bikes of the period. This handsome machine has been with the vendor since 2004 and was last MOTd in August 2013 (without any advisories) and has seen little use since. The vendor advises us that the motorcycle is running well but would benefit with the usual checks before any extended use due to the recent inactivity.
