I. Product Features and technical specifications 1.1 Measurement Principle of 3D Digital Imaging Wheel Alignment: Using high-speed, high precision dedicated digital cameras shoot and transfer the characteristics of the target disk patterns to the computer. Accurately calculate the vehicle's wheel alignment data by establishing 3D model of the feature points. This X3D wheel aligner is the world's first adopting V3D +3Dmax technology platform of aligning system, of which design idea and innovative technologies subvert the traditional mode, and promote the 3D aligning technologies to an unprecedented level, and set up for the industry the new standard. 1.2 Features of X3D wheel alignment: 1. Unique X3D, its performance is better than any V-3D and it is more easy to operate. 2. Use Imported high-speed, high precision dynamic cameras, fast shooting the four target disks, which can up to 10 times per second. 3. The four target disks only have sensing images but without any electronic components or cables. It can reduce the problems caused by component failure and the cost of repairs. 4. The target disk is made of special materials and will not distort neither in high nor low temperature, and it will not be broken when fall from the normal measurement height. Moreover, the special reflective materials can guarantee higher service life of more than 10 years. 5. Only need push the vehicle once to complete eccentric compensation, thereby increase the measuring speed. 6. The equipment had been accurately calibrated before being sold, and it means you can use it immediately when installed and need not regular calibration. 7. Equipped with voice prompt help the technicians repair quickly and accurately. 8. Ample 3D animation adjustment assistance can help the technicians adjust conveniently and easily. 9. With steering wheel correction function, ensure it goes straight when the vehicles do not adjust the setback or thrust angle. 10. With wheelbase and tread measurement function (optional), the maintenance technicians can have a better understanding on the technical status of the chassis. Website: 3

II.Equipment Installation Instructions Read and thoroughly familiarize yourself with the contents of these instructions before installing the 3D wheel alignment. 2.1 General Information: NOTE: Unpack all boxes and check all parts for transit damage. Prior to beginning, verify that all parts are included in the installation packages. 2.2 Environmental Requirements: 1) Indoor or similar indoor environment; 2) Temperature between 10 ~ 35 ; 3) Air pressure between 86kPa ~ 106kPa; 4) Relative humidity less than 85%; 5) Power supply: Single phase, 110V-220V ± 10%, 50Hz ± 1% (or 60Hz ± 1%); 6) There must be an earth wire. 2.3 Avoided In the Following Environments: 7) Where direct sunlight or high-temperature sources; 8) Dramatic changes in environmental temperature; 9) Indoor glare environment or strong backlighting environment; 10) Dusty or humid places; 11) Strong electric or magnetic; 12) Where corrosive gas, flammable gas or chemical gases diffuse; 13) Near the window. If you have to set the wheel alignment near the window, it is best to fix a curtain on it. Website: 5
III. Location Verification 3.1 Spatial Requirements Measure the ceiling height of the installation location and verify the height provides sufficient clearance. Take into consideration any ceiling mounted obstructions such as fans, heaters etc. Measure the length and width of the installation area to verify the 3D wheel alignment will fit. Relocate power outlets, air line plumbing, or other wall-mounted items that will interfere with installation. 3.2 Nominal Spatial Requirements: Length > 7m Width > 4m Height > 3.5m 3.3 Supply Voltage Supply voltage is 110V-220V.50Hz-60Hz. It s better have stable and independent power supply, and with the earth wire, or have a ground bar which is more than 1500mm into the ground. Never use the same power (phase line) with the equipments of much interference, or you must add stabilizer (UPS power supply). The 3D wheel alignment is equipped with special Earth Wire Testing Plugs and Ground Bar, using to test the power supply voltage and exporting the host's static. Ground Wire Testing Plugs P=Phase line E=Earth wire Website: 6

3.5 Lift Centerline Project Lift Installation Centerline: At the turnplate and end of the lift. To draw a vertical line (plumb line) from the inside edge of the right and left jack channel to the floor, and mark these locations. Measure the distance between the right and left marks. Divide this distance in half to determine the center point and mark this location point"a" Repeat steps 1 and 2 to locate a second center point"a" at the rear of the lift. Lay a chalk line across the two center points "A" and extend this line. To past the center of the turnplates. Snap the chalk line to locate the installation centerline. 3.6 Turnplate Centerline Determine location of the turnplate centerline when the runways are at alignment height. Pin turnplates in place. Measure the length of the turnplates (front to back.) Divide this length in half to determine the center point and mark this location on both turnplates. NOTE: An alternate method uses a straight 2 x 4 timber (or another convenient item) extended across the turnplate center points to represent the turnplate centerline. Drop a vertical line down from the turnplate centerline to locate the intersection of the turnplate centerline and installation centerline. Website: 8
At the center point of each turnplate, drop a vertical line to the floor, and mark these locations. Lay a chalk line across the two center points. Snap the chalk line to locate the turnplate centerline. Mark the intersection point of the turnplate centerline and installation centerline point B. 3.7 Front of Leg Baseplate Determine the location of the leg baseplate front edge: Measure forward 2500 mm along the installation centerline from the turnplate centerline, point B, and mark this point. At this mark, draw a perpendicular line across the installation centerline to locate the front edges of the leg baseplates. 3.8 Sides of Leg Baseplate Determine the location of the leg baseplates side edge: Along the baseplate front-edge line, measure 200mm to the right and left of the installation centerline and mark points. Move away from the lift 400mm and repeat this step. Use these points to snap short chalk lines, parallel to the installation centerline, to establish the side edges of the leg baseplate.
