2 BR(LATE) HOLDEN B12 CLASS R3432 Entering service as GER No.8580, locomotive was built at Beyer Peacock Ltd as Works No.6496 and entered traffic during October Initially allocated to Gorton, spells at Stratford, Parkeston, Colchester and Ipswich followed, before Nationalisation saw the locomotive being renumbered to Now at Stratford, a move back to Colchester was followed by final allocations to Grantham and Cambridge, from where it was withdrawn in March Jan-17 SR Channel Packet 21C1, Merchant Navy Class (Un-Rebuilt) R3434 Locomotive 21C1 Channel Packet was the first of the class, entering service on June 5, 1941 at Salisbury and then Exmouth Junction from Autumn Renumbered to 351 under British Railways in October 1948, Channel Packet was allocated to Stewarts Lane from January 25, 1957 until the locomotive was rebuilt in June Jan-17

3 BR Camelford 34032, West Country Class (Air Smoothed), Early BR R C132 Camelford entered traffic on June 18, 1946 from Ramsgate Shed, from where it was re-numbered to under British Railways. Spells at Stewarts Lane, Salisbury, Exmouth Junction and Plymouth Friary followed, before the locomotive was finally withdrawn from service on October 2, Jan-17 SR 4-4-2T 3125, Adams Radial 415 Class R3422 Locomotive 3125 was built at Robert Stephenson & Hawthorn in Darlington, during September 1885, as works number Entering service as LSWR 125, her number changed several times, becoming 0125 in July 1911, E0123 in July 1926 and 3125 in November The locomotive wasn t immediately renumbered following Nationalisation in 1948, as it was April 1949 before she received the British Rail number of 30582, remaining on the Lyme Regis branch until withdrawal during July 1961.

4 BR Squadron 34077, Battle of Britain Class (Rebuilt), Late BR R3468 Initially allocated to Ramsgate Shed, alternated between here and Stewarts Lane where, at the end of May 1960, the locomotive was rebuilt, returning to traffic at the beginning of July. At the end of May moved to Nine Elms Shed, followed by spells at Feltham and Eastleigh from where, on March 26, 1967, the locomotive was withdrawn from service. BR 4-4-2T 30583, Adams Radial 415 Class, Late BR R3423 Built at Neilson, Reid & Co in Glasgow, locomotive enjoyed a chequered career. In March 1923, Colonel Stephens bought the locomotive to work on the East Kent Light Railway as EKR No.5, where she remained until Southern Railway bought the locomotive to join 3125 and 3520 on the Lyme Regis branch, being renumbered as Following withdrawal in 1961 and now renumbered as 30583, the locomotive was sold to the Bluebell Railway, where she is now preserved.

5 SR S15 CLASS 827 R3411 The S15 proved to be an adaptable class and were capable of putting up a creditable performance when pressed into passenger service during peak holiday periods. 7 BR DRUMMOND R3421 One of the first locomotives to receive the Maunsell superheated boiler in October 1925, by 1931 No.698 was allocated to Feltham, still being there at Nationalisation and at re-numbering to in April 1951.Spells at 70A Nine Elms and 70C Guildford followed, from where it was withdrawn on May 19, Now LNER 2-6-4T THOMPSON R3461 R3423 Built at Darlington Works as Works No. 2020, L1 No entered service at 30A Stratford Shed on January 22, 1948, in LNER livery and numbered as 91. Re-numbering under the British Railways scheme followed shortly after, on May 15, 1948 but curiously the locomotive retained its LNER branding and green livery until its first general repair in mid-november was the first of the class to be withdrawn, on October 31, 1960, at Darlington Works. 8 BR (LATE) CLASS 42XX R3462 One of the final batch of 42xx locomotives built to Lot 220 at Swindon in August 1921, 4287 spent its British Rail life allocated to 86H Aberbeeg Shed in South Wales, from where it was withdrawn to Swindon for disposal in 1961, being cut up in April that year. Now BR XX CLASS R3463 Class 52xx locomotive 5231 was built at Swindon in June 1924 to Lot 225 and at Nationalisation in 1948 was allocated to 87G Carmarthen Shed. Spells at 86F Aberbeeg and 88A Cardiff East Dock followed, before 5231 was withdrawn in April 1964 and cut up at Cashmore s in Newport in July. Now

9 LATE BR CLASS 72XX R3464 A rebuild from the original Class 52xx built to Lot 233 in 1925/26, Class 72xx locomotive 7224 was rebuilt in November 1935 at Swindon. Its British Rail allocation was varied, spending spells at 86E Severn Tunnel Junction, 87D Swansea East Dock, 87F Llanelly, 87E Landore, 86J Aberdare, 83C Exeter and 86A Ebbw Junction (Newport), from where it was withdrawn in December Now

10 BR Class 08 R3484 R3423 Locomotive was delivered from Derby Works in May 1957 to Cardiff East Dock and worked across BR s Western Region until March 1968, when it was transferred to the London Midland Region. RailRoad Class with TTS Sound R3394TTS

11 0-6-0 Laira Diesel Depot Class 08 R3485 Locomotive was delivered from Horwich Works in February 1959 to Newport Pill and is currently owned by First Great Western, being Pilot at Plymouth Laira T&RSMD and was named Laira Diesel Depot: 50 years in November VIRGIN EAST COAST TRAIN PACK R3501 R3423 In the year between April 2014 and March 2015, 20.6 million passengers were carried on the East Coast Main Line and VTEC run 155 services every weekday to meet this current demand. A 40 million plus redevelopment programme has been put in place; this includes 21 million spent revamping the interiors of the trains by installing Virgin coloured upholstery, new carpets and panelling, 16 million on new engines and up to 5 million on livery updates. Sent to storage for future needs, gradually they were moved to freight duties and during the winter months they had a role as top and tail treatment trains for clearing leaves and ice from tracks. 13 LNER CLASS A4 MALLARD R3395TTS On July 3, 1938, Sir Nigel Gresley s Mallard sped down Stoke Bank, south of Grantham on the East Coast Main Line, in a blur of Garter Blue. At milepost 90¼, between Little Bytham and Essendine, the locomotive recorded its highest speed of 126mph. Breaking the 1936 world speed record of 124.5mph for a steam locomotive, previously set by a German engine, the record still stands today.
