7 FasTracks Status West Rail Line (W Line) Open Denver Union Station Open East/Gold/Northwest Rail Lines (EAGLE) Gold (G): 95% complete, testing underway; the University of Colorado A Line and B Line Open I-225 Rail (R) Line 94% complete with integrated testing underway throughout most of the line. U.S. 36 BRT (Flatiron Flyer) BRT in operation; express lanes complete; final construction activities underway North Metro (N) Line Construction continues on the Skyway Bridge; work on all bridges is underway. Drainage work along the alignment is ongoing, and OCS foundations and poles are being set throughout the line. Southeast Rail Soil nail wall and pier construction for the RidgeGate Parkway Station parking garage is underway. Continued abutment work for the RidgeGate and I-25 bridges. Ongoing utility relocations just north of Lincoln Avenue.

9 G Line Update Denver Transit Partners (DTP), RTD s contractor for the Eagle P3 project, has been working on resolving the issues affecting the University of Colorado A Line s crossings. DTP has been operating trains under a waiver from the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA). The FRA has granted a 90-day extension on their waiver, allowing for continued operation of the University of Colorado A Line and B Line through February 4. RTD will resume testing along the G Line once the FRA approves progress along the University of Colorado A Line. Targeted opening date is fall 2016; RTD will update the public as soon as possible.

11 Economic Impact FasTracks job impact categories: Direct: Purchasing trains, building stations, and constructing railways. Indirect: Suppliers of goods and services such as train vehicles, steel for rails, and concrete for stations. Induced: Construction workers, engineers and other professionals working on FasTracks who spend their paychecks on consumer goods at local retailers, restaurants, movie theaters and coffee shops.

12 Economic Impact Since Jan. 2005, RTD has injected over $3.5 billion into the local economy Since 2005, FasTracks has created many jobs each year during peak construction: 600 construction jobs during West Rail Line construction 2,500 direct and indirect jobs during Eagle P3 construction Total direct full-time jobs: approx. 15,000 Total indirect and induced jobs: approx. 23,000
