The dream of many garden enthusiasts is therefore fully automatic lawn care at the touch of a button, such as the Robolinho automatic lawnmowers have been offering for years. As of 2017, thanks to the optional AL-KO intouch interface, the tools can be integrated quickly and easily in the innogy SmartHome solution. This means that they can be operated easily and conveniently via smartphone or tablet while you are on the move or from the comfort of your sofa. What is more, the Robolinho lawnmowers can be intelligently linked to other components in the SmartHome platform, such as sprinkler systems, for example. All that is needed is a chip that is fitted to your existing device and connects to the innogy gateway via W-LAN. Communication takes place over wireless protocols in the sub-gigahertz frequency in order to achieve the necessary range. Once all the components have been successfully networked in the app, it is then possible to change a number of settings and monitor your machine's status.
