4 Dragline History The Klipspruit Dragline is one of three Bucyrus 1570-W Draglines that was used for mining i and rehabilitation ti at Rietspruit it Mine Services. It was first commissioned i in Actual walk started on 16 August 2003, 34 km to Klipspruit, and ended on 27 October 2003 Machine audits were conducted during 2007 and a scope of work defined for the purpose of repairing and upgrading the machine to a condition to operate for another 20 years The scope of work included mechanical, electrical and structural repairs and upgrades Vernon Carter, Section Engineer, BHPBilliton Klipspruit Colliery, 23 February, 2010 Slide 4
