3 More light on Restrictions No micro / mini generation by free consumers and special consumers No offset of electric power with consumer units located in other concession areas of electric power distribution No sale of the electric power in excess to consumption (deadline of 60 months for the offset of credits) Rental or lease of real estate properties, lands or plots of land in conditions whereby the rental / lease amount shall NOT be calculated in Reais per electric power unit (PPA-type arrangement) No segregation of a generation unit in smaller units in order to meet the power thresholds for distributed micro and mini-generation 3
4 Micro and Mini Distributed Generation ANEEL Resolution No. 482/12, as amended by Resolution No. 687/15 Basic Net Metering offset between the electric power generated against the electric power consumed in the same consumer unit Remote Self-consumption offset between the electric power generated by a person / legal entity in one of its consumer units against the electric power consumed in its other units (which may also have a higher load than the generation unit) Projects with Multiple Consumer Units use of electric power among independent consumer units located in the same property or contiguous properties (buildings, for instance), whereby each portion is deemed as a specific consumer unit. Areas of common use represent an independent consumer unit Shared Generation association of consumers (either individuals or legal entities) by means of consortium or cooperative which holds a consumer unit generating electric power in a different location than the consumer units where the generated electric power will be offset 4
