OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE UNDER THE MOST ADVERSE CONDITIONS / In order to be certain of satisfying high quality demands, Fronius inverters are exhaustively tested in our in-house research and development centre. This ensures that the equipment can withstand environmental influences including water spray, dust, salt or extreme temperatures while constantly delivering outstanding performance. The facilities available for testing new technologies include test laboratories that extend over more than 400 square metres as well as a wide variety of different PV systems (roof-mounted systems, façade systems, PV trackers, thin-film modules, crystalline modules, etc.) with a total output of over 1 MW. At every stage of production, parts and components are checked to ensure that they work correctly and also meet our high quality standards. Only products that pass every aspect of the final function and load tests are released.

10 / EASY INTEGRATION OF THIRD-PARTY COMPONENTS / The open interfaces in your inverter make it easy to connect PV systems to third-party components. All PV system data is thus transferred via standardised interfaces such as Modbus TCP SunSpec, Modbus RTU Sunspec or Fronius Solar.API (JSON). Furthermore, the inverters can even be controlled via Modbus. The open interfaces can be operated in parallel to Fronius Solar.web. This means that in the event of a fault we can ensure that rapid support is provided. CLEAR PRESENTATION OF PV SYSTEM DATA / PV systems can be monitored, analysed and compared quickly and easily using the free online portal Fronius Solar.web. 15 MEDVEN SOLAR POWER PLANT / Highest yield levels in a hot climate In Medven in Bulgaria a 2 MW PV system has been set up in a remarkably short space of time. High yield dependability was a key factor right from the planning stage: We were really impressed by the Fronius MIX technology of the inverters, as it increases the yield while also providing the highest levels of fault tolerance, explains investor Georgi Popov. The central inverter solution with centralised cooling ensures that a high yield can be achieved in a hot climatic region like Bulgaria.
