8 ANTI-ISLANDING / Islanded operation means that a PV system energizes the grid even if the mains supply is shut down. / Typical reasons would be: / Grid is shut down for maintenance work / Grid outage due to broken lines (thunder storm, earthquake, ) / Such a situation would cause danger for people working on the grid 8 / Therefore a so called Anti-Islanding function is required in the inverter
