2 CAN-AM OUTLANDER L RANGE The new Outlander L 450 delivers best-in-class power. Whether you re using it for farming, forestry, managing a highland estate or any other hard work, the 38-hp liquid-cooled Rotax 450 engine is engineered to deliver all the power and torque you require. You can also choose the 570 V-Twin Rotax engine to benefit from extra power (48 hp) and torque. The 570 V-twin engine is one of the most fuel efficient engines of its category thanks to its precise calibration. HANDLING AND COMFORT ENGINE BRAKING : All Can-Am ATVs & SSVs are equipped with engine braking as standard. The engine brake of the Outlander L will help you to keep control of your machine when towing or riding on descents. VISCO-LOK FRONT DIFFERENTIAL : The Outlander L is also equipped with the unique Visco-Lok differential system. This exclusive system constantly monitors front wheel speed, giving the wheels more power when needed for optimal traction. INDEPENDENT REAR SUSPENSION : The unique anti-dive front and rear TTI (Torsional Trailing arm Independent) comes as standard on all Outlander L models. Exclusive to Can-Am, the TTI is the only independent rear suspension that eliminates scrub and camber changes by using proprietary geometry which places the pivot points ahead of the rear wheels. It has been designed to increase steering feel, trail comfort and better body roll control when turning on various terrains. BRP engineers also worked on reducing the steering effort to offer a smoother ride. TRI MODE POWERSTEERING* : Proposed as an option, the Tri-Mode Dynamic Power Steering (DPS ) equipped Outlander L DPS models allow the user to select the assistance required to increase comfort and handling. VERSATILITY AND ERGONOMICS TOWING & RACK CAPACITY : The Outlander L has a ground-breaking towing capacity of 590 kg to let you perform any task required. With 163 kg, it also offers a class-leading rack capacity. FUEL CAPACITY & STORAGE : With one of the largest fuel capacities on the market (20.5 L), the Outlander L gives you more freedom to work longer and farther. The Outlander L is also equipped with an 11 L water-resistant storage box offering the space and protection you need for your most valuable objects. SELECTABLE:2/4 WHEEL DRIVE : All Outlander L models are equipped with selectable 2/4 WD on the handlebars. EASY ACCESSORIES MOUNTING The LinQTM system allows cargo and carrying accessories to attach to your Outlander L in seconds so you can add items like a 124 L high-capacity trunk box without any tools. The Outlander L is also prewired for adding a winch.
