1 2019 LCMU Electric Utility Rate Schedule Residential Service APPLICABLE TO: Residential customers for all domestic uses in single-family dwellings and individually metered apartments within the service territory of the Lake Crystal Utilities, including use of motors of not more than 5 horsepower individual capacity. 2 Small Commercial Service APPLICABLE TO: Any commercial, industrial, city, or farm load within the service territory of the Lake Crystal Utilities, for all purposes, where the average monthly energy usage over a twelve month period does not exceed 5,000 kwh. SERVICE AVAILABLE: Single-phase, 60 hertz, 120/240 volt, 400 amp max., 3-wire, single meter; or three-phase, 60 hertz, 240/120V, 208Y/120V, or 480Y/277V, 4-wire, single meter. 3 Large Commercial Service APPLICABLE TO: Any commercial, industrial, city, or farm load within the Lake Crystal Utilities service territory, for all purposes, where the average monthly energy usage over a twelve month period exceeds 5,000 kwh, but the peak demand does not exceed 150 kw in any one month. SERVICE AVAILABLE: 60 hertz, three-phase, 240/120 V, 208 Y/120 V, or 480 Y/277 V, 4-wire, or standard primary voltage available at point of delivery. Special voltages may be provided at the discretion of the utility. Utility furnishes only one transformer bank and/or one meter. Customer Charge $25.68 per meter All kwh 4.9 Demand Charge All $30.25 METERED DEMAND: The metered demand for any month shall be the maximum kilowatt demand established by the consumer for any fifteen-minute interval during the month as indicated or recorded by a demand meter. BILLING DEMAND: The billing demand shall be the maximum measured fifteen-minute integrated demand in the billing month, but not less than fifty percent (50%) of the maximum fifteen-minute demand established in any of the twelve preceding months.

4 Industrial Service APPLICABLE TO: Any commercial, industrial, city, or farm load within the Lake Crystal Utilities service territory, for all purposes, where the peak demand in any one month of a twelve month period is more than 150 kw. SERVICE AVAILABLE: 60 hertz, three-phase, 240/120 V, 208 Y/120 V, or 480 Y/277 V, 4-wire, or standard primary voltage available at point of delivery. Special voltages may be provided at the discretion of the utility. Utility furnishes only one transformer bank and/or one meter. 6 Residential with Distributed Generation Service APPLICABLE TO: Residential customers who install on the customer side of the meter a distributed generation facility with capacity less than 40kW, with the intent of furnishing all or a portion of the customer s own requirements via self-generation. This rate is applicable for all domestic uses in single-family dwellings and individually metered apartments within the service territory of the Lake Crystal Utilities, including use of motors of not more than 5 horsepower individual capacity. This rate is intended to apply to installations in which the distributed generation facility produces an output that approximately matches the consumption of the facility. If the distributed generation facility s output greatly exceeds the consumption of the facility, LCU reserves the right to reconsider the charges under this rate schedule, as is appropriate to the circumstances. SERVICE AVAILABLE: Single-phase, 60 hertz, 120/240 volt, 400 amp max., 3-wire, single meter. Customer Charge (No kwh) $10.99 per meter for all kwh furnished by LCU All System Access Charge $6.80 per kw times the modified system capacity rating of the distributed generation facility. The modified system capacity rating is defined as an amount equal to the nameplate capacity rating of the distributed generation facility (in kw) less 3 kw, but not exceeding 20 kw. charge of 10 percent of the balance due will apply.
