Technology has improved over the last couple of decades with the introduction of low consumption motors, CFC-Free refrigerants along with thickwall insulation cabinets and LED interior lighting. Fridge styles have changed with larger fridge/ freezers and integrated cabinets becoming more common, and colours have come and gone (yes we offered green and browns at one point!). Demand for silver fridges came and went and black became the new White. However, white still remains the Henry Ford standard as it was back in Shoreline (UK) Ltd reserves the right to change specifications without notice in line with our policy of continual improvement. What can we expect to see in the next 21 years? Motor developments are already getting much smaller and power consumptions are also improving. Internet technologies have yet to be incorporated into DC appliances but it will come. So now we d like to thank all the trade customers who have supported us over the years, but especially you, our end customer, who champions the Shoreline brand wherever you go!

12 The small print Notes - PLEASE READ All fridge and freezer models are suitable for use up to +32ºC max. ambient. Add 25mm to all fridge and freezer exterior dimensions to allow for ventilation to dissipate condenser heat. All models are fitted with low voltage warning LED for fault finding purposes. Energy consumption figures quoted are approximate and are for comparative purposes only. Actual consumption figures will vary according to changes in ambient temperature, thermostat setting and door openings. Our quoted figures are measured with a sample fridge model operating in a steady +25ºC ambient temperature maintaining a mean of +5ºC in fridges (-12ºC in freezers). IMPORTANT! To allow for voltage drop over long cable lengths, fridge cable sizes = 1.0mm² cross sectional area for every 1 metre cable length, i.e. if battery is 6 metres away from back of fridge, then use 6.0mm² size cable. (Halve this cable size for 24V installations). Note: Over 95% of service calls are due to the use of incorrect cable sizing or voltage drops via electrical connections. Please read installation instructions thoroughly.
