6 LIGHT DRIPLINE WITH CONTINUOUS LABYRINTH IRRITECTAPE irritectape LIGHT DRIPLINE irritectape, is the result of Irritec s research and development. It is particularly suitable for well-drained soil intended for growing vegetables and flowers, thanks to the short distance between the drop points and their low flow rate. The dripper labyrinth guarantees a high turbulent effect that ensures a high level of uniform water distribution over the entire line, reducing sedimentation to a minimum. The irritectape light dripline is an ideal solution for drip irrigation both in the open field and on protected crops. irritectape is characterised by excellent resistance to thermal and mechanical stress, however its performance remains unchanged even in the most difficult conditions. Characteristics and advantages High performance in terms of dispensing irrigation, even in fertigation cycles. The particular design of the turbulent flow labyrinth reduces sedimentation to a minimum and enables greater line lengths with excellent emission uniformity; The extended filtering surface of the dripper protects the labyrinth from any clogging; Possibility to create considerably long lines; The double green recognition line indicates the top of the outlet holes; The outlet hole, engraved with laser technology, considerably reduces obstruction and intrusion of the roots; Supply of water and nutrients in an excellent position compared to the root system; Reduced phytopathological problems as the foliage is kept dry. 8 LIGHT DRIPLINE WITH CONTINUOUS LABYRINTH IRRITECTAPE DCF irritectape DCF double continuous filter - against clogging LIGHT DRIPLINE DCF is the new Irritec-patented light dripline with continuous labyrinth. It is equipped with a double continuous filter over the whole lateral length. This provides the product with excellent filtration properties, making it particularly suitable for the use with poor quality water. DCF is based on the technology of a continuous turbulent flow labyrinth already and successfully applied to Irritec micro irrigation systems, being at the same time an evolution in the product application. In particular, DCF dripline is more resistant to clogging thanks to the remarkably wide filtering surface of 254 mm2 per each linear meter. ISO 9261-certified product 200 ISO 9261:2004 /B LIGHT DRIPLINE P1 is the new multiseasonal product for drip irrigation in greenhouse and open field suitable for most crops. It is the light dripline of a new generation meeting the needs of the most advanced drip irrigation, fulfilling all the necessary requirements in terms of operation and ease of use. Produced by integrated-extrusion technology, it has cutting-edge technical features and meets the highest qualitative standards according to ISO 9261 standard. P1 offers excellent resistance to thermal and mechanical stress, maintaining high performance even in the toughest conditions. The system works through a gate obtained thanks to a special working of the emission hole. During the irrigation cycle the gate opens and warrants a regular outgoing of water. At the end of the irrigation cycle the gate comes back to the rest position, closing the emission hole and consequently blocking possible infiltrations of mud and rubbles. COEXTRUDED, PRESSURE COMPENSATING DROP-STOP AND ANTI-SIPHON DRIPLINE The new coextruded, pressure compensating, dripline is the latest offering from Irritec s research and development office. Manufactured using innovative technological solutions which guarantee a high qualitative standard and duration over time, also in extremely difficult applications. The new flat dripper, using the silicone membrane, guarantees a constant flow rate also as pressure varies, allowing a high level of emission uniformity and water and nutrients. It is also equipped with a protection filter which, thanks to its particular positioning in the water flow, facilitates cleaning and avoids clogging. The particular design of the labyrinth generates a turbulence effects that avoids sedimentation inside the dripper, ensuring the product is long-lasting. Using the Drop-Stop system, all the drippers work simultaneously, opening and closing, and thereby allowing high precision of the irrigation cycles to fully benefit the crop growth. The new, pressure compensating dripper is manufactured using state of the art raw materials, ensuring the product is robust, highly resistant and long-lasting. 44 ON LINE DRIPPERS CAPILLAR SYSTEM Capillar system IRRIGATION SYSTEM WITH CAPILLARIES CAPILLAR SYSTEM is the method for localized irrigation developed by Irritec for nurseries, protected crops and greenhouses. The capillary is the main characteristic of this system. It is a micropipe with inside diameter from 0.6 mm to 1.5 mm manufactured by a coextrusion process. The monitoring by laser equipment of dimensional characteristics allows millimeter hundredth precision. The system The system consists of a polyethylene pipe and the capillary: the pipe, produced in diameters 16, 20, and 25 mm is punched with single or double hole at the requested spacing; the capillary, available in outer diameters 2.5 mm and 3.2 mm, is inserted in the pipe. At the end of the capillary there is a stake to be placed in the ground near the plant. How does it work? The laminar flow due to the very reduced diameters allows to obtain a constant flow-rate relative to capillary length and working pressure. Which are the advantages? CAPILLAR SYSTEM is a reliable and inexpensive irrigation system: the installation consists in laying the pipe with the inserted capillary on the ground. Then capillary is then fixed to the ground, near the plant s stem, by means of the stake; in the event of capillary damage, one just needs to take the capillary off the pipe and replace it inserting a new one; the flexibility of this system allows variation of flow-rates by changing capillary lengths.
