33 Daily Analyzer Inspections and Preparations, continued Daily Inspections and Preparations continued from the previous page Inspect the Sample Probe, Reagent Probes, and Mix Bars (continued from previous page) Confirm proper operation of the probes and mix bars: Select MAINT. > Analyzer Maintenance > Maintenance Select the Analyzer Maintenance box Select Prime Washing Line In Times, confirm the value is 1, Select OK Press the green DIAG/TABLE ROTATION button on the analyzer to start the prime cycle Confirm a thin straight stream of water is dispensed from each probe and that water is flows in the wash wells Confirm proper operation of each mix bar component and that the mix bars align correctly in the wash wells When priming is complete (green DIAG/TABLE ROTATION button is lit), clear the Analyzer Maintenance box Replace the DI Water or Diluent in the Pre-dilution Bottle Discard the DI water or diluent in the pre-dilution bottle (located outside of the R1 reagent compartment in position labeled 61. Diluent/W2) Rinse the bottle twice with DI water Fill the bottle with DI water or diluent and replace it on the analyzer Prepare the Sample Probe Wash Solutions Remove each wash solution bottle and discard the solution in the bottle If you have an average volume of samples that are not highly viscous, fill the bottles with approximately 50 ml as follows: Det.-1/W2 with 2% wash solution Det.-2 with 2% wash solution If you have a high volume of samples or use the analyzer for dialysis patient samples, fill the bottles with approximately 50 ml as follows: Det.-1/W2 with 2% wash solution Det.-2 with 1% sodium hypochlorite solution Replace the bottles on the analyzer Contamination Parameters If you have contamination parameters defined on your system (60 ml bottles located by the R1 and R2 reagent probes in positions labeled 49. CLN-1, 50. CLN-2, 62. CLN-1, and 63. CLN-2), discard the cleaning solution in each bottle Fill the bottles with approximately 50 ml of the appropriate cleaning solution in each bottle Replace the bottles on the analyzer DxC 700 AU, Customer, Job Aid Booklet Page 33 of 51
