2 TIER IV FINAL TIER IV FINAL SOLUTION All NITRO engines will feature Cummins Tier IV Final emissions solutions. Each model of NITRO is now configured with a single engine and horsepower option to ensure optimal performance. The Cummins Tier IV Final Solution is comprised of the following exhaust treatment components, in order of exhaust flow from the engine. A Cummins VGT (Variable Geometry Turbo) Turbocharger used in concert with an EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valve to meter cooled exhaust gas into the intake. A Cummins Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC), removes CO, HC, and diesel particulate matter from the exhaust. Flowthrough design, no maintenance required. A Cummins Decomposition Reactor Tube (DRT) where Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF - Urea) is injected into the exhaust flow. QSB 6.7 Liter VGT Decomposition Reactor Tube (DRT) where where the DEF is injected into the exhaust flow. QSL 8.9 Liter EGR Cooler Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) A Cummins Selective Catalytic Reduction (SRC) unit. DEF is injected into the exhaust, where it reacts with heat and converts to ammonia. The ammonia reacts with NOx and passes over the catalyst and converts to Nitrogen and water vapor. The Selective Catalytic Reduction (SRD) unit is the final stage, where NOx is reduced and the remaining exhaust is nitrogen and water vapor.

3 TIER IV FINAL BENEFITS WITH THE CUMMINS TIER IV FINAL SOLUTION Cummins provides a fully integrated Tier IV System, including the Engines, Turbochargers, Fuel Systems, Filtration, Aftertreatment, Combustion Technology, and Electronic Controls. This system integration allows for the design, build, and delivery of a complete solution from a global leader in on and off highway diesel engines. The Cummins Tier IV Final solution, utilizing DEF and the SCR, and replacing the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) associated with Tier IV Interim solutions with the fit and forget Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC), provides both lower operating costs through increased fuel efficiency and simplified, lower cost maintenance. The Cummins engines used in the 5 Miller NITRO models boast higher horse power, lower fuel consumption, low DEF consumption, and excellent reliability. The DOC flow-through substrate is coated with Platinum and Palladium as a catalyst to reduce CO and HC >90%, and particulate matter by 25 to 50%. EFFICIENT DEF CONSUMPTION Cummins reports an average of 3% DEF dosing rate to fuel. Miller tests with a QSL 380 hp engine averaged a dosing rate of 1 gallon to each 48 gallons of diesel. With a 15 gallon DEF tank, this would require one re-fill of the DEF tank for every 4.5 fills of the diesel tank.

4 TIER IV FINAL ACCOMMODATING THE CUMMINS TIER IV FINAL SOLUTION ON NITRO DIESEL EXHAUST FLUID (DEF) TANK: 15 gallon capacity. Complete with a level indicator, fluid temp indicator, fluid quality indicator, and heaters (in-tank and line) for the DEF. The DEF tank is located on the left side of the engine compartment, is equipped with a drain, and the fill location is behind the left sliding door of the engine compartment. DEF is a non-toxic solution of 32.5% Urea and 67.5% deionized water, and has a freezing point of 12.2 degrees F (-11C). The NITRO will run without DEF for approximately 45 minutes, allowing the heaters to thaw frozen DEF, permitting it to flow properly. ENGINE OIL DRAIN: a hand-operated drain has been added to the Tier IV Engine ENGINE AIR FILTER: the air filter has been changed to meet Cummin s requirements. THE COOLING SYSTEM: has been changed to a stacked top-to-bottom configuration, the fan is larger in diameter and has been moved to the rear, the oil cooler is larger, and the radiator is 35% larger. REVERSING FAN: the option is now built into the fan drive motor, and it is recommended that it be ordered when machine is built. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: to accommodate the exhaust aftertreatment components, DEF tank, and larger cooling package, the engine compartment is larger. 5 ENHANCEMENTS NEW UNDER BODY SHIELD OPTION: Poly, for longer wear life. Lightweight, easy release latch, and easily removable. Bomb-bay style doors from front to rear. TALLER, MORE CONVENIENT REAR HAND RAILS. REAR BOOM adjusts from 9 to 10 feet at 4 increments. Extends further back to clear rear panel. Nozzles turned slightly to rear to keep spray away from cooling package. ELECTRICAL Easier to access major electrical components from within the rear panel and engine compartment. New relay/fuse panel is accessible when the rear panel is open. ELECTRICAL Master shut off switch disconnects positive and negative battery cables. NEW CONVENIENT LOCATION FOR BATTERIES 1,000 cca vs 925, easier access, with nut and bolt style terminals. Easy access charge terminals located inside lower engine compartment.

6 ENHANCEMENTS WHEELS AND TIRES: The rim with the dish that protrudes beyond the edge of the tire and is susceptible to paint wearing from contact with crops is being replaced with a NEW rim with a different shaped center disc that does not protrude beyond the edge of the tire and a 13 wide rim instead of 12. The new, wider rim accommodates the new IF tires. AFFECTED TIRES INCLUDE: 320/90R50 380/90R46 380/90R50 380/105R50 INCREASED FLEXION (IF) & VERY HIGH FLEXION (VF) TIRES Increased Flexion technology allows tires to carry 20 percent higher loads at the same inflation pressure as standard tires. Similarly, IF technology tires can carry the same load at 20 percent lower inflation pressures, resulting in better flotation and reduced soil compaction. Lug design features a wider lug and more lug bracing than a standard R1 tire, which means increased durability and wear, while maintaining optimum traction in both wet and dry field conditions. The wide, flat lug design also features swept lug angles, which improves both ride quality and road wear. Heavy-duty construction features a reinforced carcass, stubble-resistant tread compound, enhanced bead construction and a heavy-duty belt package, resulting in increased bruise resistance, improved sidewall durability, increased lateral stability, better air retention and better overall durability when compared to a standard R-1 tire. 7 ENHANCEMENTS RAVEN TANK FILL MONITOR OPTION: The Raven Tank Fill Monitor is now offered as an option. It measures the liquid being pumped into the product tank. This is very useful when filling the tank to a job-specific volume instead of simply filling to capacity. The system will be supplied with an RFM 200 three inch flowmeter and when used with a Raven field computer, will automatically adjust the tank volume on the field computer. JOHN DEERE PRECISION FARMING KIT: The Deere precision farming base kit is working well. It should be noted when a GS3 is used, the screen and functionality is an ISO platform, not specifically the GS3 screen. Steering for the Deere precision equipped NITROs will be available for the 2015 model year. This is an aftermarket kit developed by Reichardt specifically for the NITRO and consists of a steering node located where the Raven steering node would normally be located. All steering functions will be controlled on the Deere GS3 field computer as its own separate screen, requiring the operator to coordinate screens when performing a job. It is integrated into the NITRO grip button. The steering solution requires the Miller Steer Ready Kit.

8 ENHANCEMENTS BOOM ENHANCEMENT: Added a 12 section center section to accommodate 132 and 135 foot aftermarket aluminum booms, along with a 12 section in-line filter kit. PRODUCT PUMP: The optional 9307 High Capacity Pump Kit has been upgraded to the 9307CWS with ForceField Seal Technology. NEW ForceField seal technology to protect your pump against today s harshest application environments: Eliminates dry run Eliminates chemical and fertilizer bonding failures Prevents costly in-season downtime Maintenance-free operation Self-regulating chamber designed to provide pressure when needed The Hypro 9306 series pump has not changed. LIGHTING The Premium Lighting Package now includes ingress/egress lighting, comprised of three new LED lights: One at the foot of the ladder, at the base of the fresh water tank, and the base of the fuel tank. The ingress/egress lights can be turned on one of two ways: by opening the door if the dome master switch is activated, AND with the new momentary switch next to the battery disconnect switch next to the ladder. Lights will stay on for approximately 3 minutes.

9 CAB UPGRADES CAB CHANGES: 1. The Armrest has been enhanced to give the operator more room, by narrowing the console. There is now greater adjustment, enabling the operator to raise and lower the armrest and move the armrest further away from the seat. 2. The shape of the armrest has been changed, where the front left corner has been trimmed back to give the operator more leg room. 3. The 12v cell phone plug has been moved to the top side of the armrest, and two USB charging ports have been added. 4. The hydro handle has been relocated to give more room between the joystick and the steering wheel, with a redesigned stem to give the operator a more comfortable hand position. 5. Foam marker switch now lets you foam out of both the left and right side at the same time. 6. When four wheel steer is installed, the foam marker switch becomes the 4 wheel steer switch. 7. The joy stick has new optional sequencing controls, allowing you to toggle through the boom section from left to right, right to left, and center button takes you back to all functioning. 10 CAB UPGRADES AIR CONDITIONING: Improvements include increasing amount of Freon used, increased capacity of supply line, and increased sized of condenser. Closable vent louvers and extra air outlets have been added to the steering column tower. To enhance visibility, the tower has been lowered by three inches. Cooled air no longer passes through the roof bladder where it meets with a large volume of hot air and does not cool as efficiently. Because of the bladder issue, 2 vents in the halo have been removed. The vent behind the operator s head has been removed. Two side vents were moved to the rear to shorten the length of the air ducts. Two additional vents were added on the left and right side of the operator to replace the rear center vent. New recirculation filter allows for greater air flow. The sum total of these changes results in a significant improvement in air conditioning performance.

11 CAB UPGRADES PREMIUM CAB CHANGES: New X Grip is standard in the Premium Cab. It holds a smartphone in a convenient location with a clear line of sight for the operator. Located on the left side of the Field Computer within easy reach. A new Rear Mount Camera is standard equipment with the Premium Cab package. Can work as a back-up camera or can be left on all the time. The camera uses the Miller Systems Monitor as the display monitor. Camera will be mounted on the rear of the machine.

12 CAB UPGRADES MILLER SYSTEMS MONITOR: A new, larger, more powerful and informative Miller Systems Monitor has replaced the previous monitor. The Monitor has increased in size from 4.3 inches to 7 inches. The monitor is no longer controlled with soft touch buttons and a knob, but is now a touch screen. The monitor has been angled more to improve the operator s sight line. With the Premium SprayView Cab, the Miller Systems Monitor also serves as the rear view camera monitor. There are numerous settings and diagnostic screens that are bright, highly visible, easy to read, and simple to navigate with the new Miller Systems Monitor.
