25 Start/Stop technoogy New Corsavan s Start/Stop system offers rea benefits by improving fue economy and reducing CO 2 emissions, particuary in town. It does this by automaticay stopping the engine when you come to a standsti, and then restarting as you prepare to move off. Before automaticay stopping the engine a number of system checks are carried out to ensure that it is both safe and practica to do so. To ensure safety, the driver must depress the cutch peda, shift in to neutra, and then reease the cutch peda. A commercia vehices must carry a manufacturer s pate showing the vehice and axe gross pated weights. It is an offence to drive a vehice in a condition where any of these weights are exceeded. Kerbweight The weight of the compete vehice in standard form, excuding payoad and driver but incuding cooant, oi, 90% fu fue tank and spare whee where fitted.
