INTERIOR Luxurious Leather Upholstery With such an elegant exterior, you d expect nothing less than supple leather seats and trim inside the Murano. 7 Speaker Bose Audio System The Murano s Bose audio system will be music to your ears. It features an in-dash 6-CD auto-changer, seven speakers and 225 watts of precision sound. The system comes with six channels of customised equalisation and signal processing for an output to rival any home system. Climate control air conditioning Whether it s summer in the city or cold in the countryside the Murano s powerful climate control system automatically adjusts the cabin temperature to your required level. 7 NISSAN MURANO Performance The 4X4 with sports car spirit ENGINE Impressive Family Ties The Murano is powered by a specially tuned version of the V6 engine that has made the 350Z an instant hit with sports car enthusiasts around the world. It provides the Murano with 234 hp for effortless performance and true driving pleasure. 3.5 V6 Petrol Engine with 234hp With a high-performance 3.5 V6 petrol engine delivering maximum torque of 318Nm at 3600 revs, the Murano is a wolf in sheep s clothing. The easy-breathing 24 valve double-overhead cam-design incorporates lightweight aluminium components and advanced variable valve and intake timing systems. HANDLING Car-like Handling Thanks to the Murano s agility and rapid reaction to steering input, you feel in total control. High torque combined with its Xtronic CVT ensures immediate responsiveness, and the Murano s ALL MODE 4x4 with ESP+ provides optimised traction control. 9 PASSIVE SAFETY NISSAN MURANO Safety and Security Safety always comes first Airbags All Around Every Murano comes equipped with a full set of airbags, including driver, passenger and curtain airbags, to ensure the highest level of protection. Zone Body Construction The Murano's solid zone body construction provides maximum strength in case of collision. High-strength steel and cross-members reinforce the cabin, and strategically placed front and rear crumple zones help absorb crash energy. The Murano s pipe-style steel side-door guard beams will also reduce injury in side impacts. Active Head Restraints Active head restraints are an important safety feature on the Murano. They automatically slide forward to cushion your head in the event of a direct collision. This will reduce potential whiplash injuries for both front seat occupants. ACTIVE SAFETY ESP+ & Active Brake LSD The Murano s Electronic Stability Program Plus (ESP+) is linked to an active brake Limited Slip Differential (LSD) to manage engine power and brake pressure. This will maximise traction and control at all times. Delivery of power to the wheels is also constantly monitored by a Traction Control System, which limits wheel spin during acceleration. Bi-Xenon Headlamps Murano s Bi-Xenon headlamps use a single high-efficiency bulb for both high and low beams, and give a broader coverage of the road ahead as well as improved kerbside visibility. This technology also benefits the driver, as unlike traditional halogen lamps, the beam resembles daylight. Plus, to increase clarity, the Murano is fitted with flush-mounted headlamp washers. ABS with EBD and Brake Assist The Murano has three braking systems to ensure you stop safely. ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) prevents the wheels from locking, making it easier to steer around obstacles. Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD) automatically regulates the pressure between the front and rear brakes, creating optimum braking even when carrying heavy loads and towing. And in emergency braking, Brake Assist increases the force applied to the brakes. 9
