Fully manufactured and CE Marked by Crystal, Evolve patio doors are engineered to the highest standards and available in a variety of finishes and choice of sliding and fixed leaf configurations. New options for 2014 include thermally-broken aluminium low threshold designs in Silver or Gold anodised finish. Featuring an excellent stainless steel track system to ensure years of trouble free service, these patio doors require little maintenance and will keep your customers homes warm due to their energy efficiency. 5 Low threshold - Trim/Ramp option Ramp The most popular low threshold design configuration is the Trim/Ramp option, featuring an internal trim and external ramp. Compared to the Evolve Patio door fitted with a 150mm PVC-U sill, the low threshold lowers the step over height by 47.5mm, ensuring ease of access for all the family. Trim Manufactured from sturdy extruded aluminium profiles, the new low threshold is thermally broken to maximise thermal efficiency and conserve valuable heat in the home. Low threshold - Ramp/Ramp and Trim/Trim options Ramp Additional low threshold design configurations are the Ramp/Ramp option (illustrated here) which is suitable for interior door applications linking conservatory extensions to adjoining household premises, and the Trim/Trim option for a neat and compact looking installation. Ramp Dependant on hardware colour choice, the low thresholds are available in either a Gold or Silver anodised finish. Sliding sash design and J-bead The sliding patio door sashes now feature a new fitter friendly J-bead design to ensure quick and easy glazing of 28mm insulated double glazed units. The PVC-U sash profiles are now triple chambered for enhanced thermal performance. The central chamber houses a 2mm steel reinforcement to give increased rigidity and an external drainage slope has been added to efficiently route rainwater to the concealed drainage slots and optimise weather performance.
