2 CAST STEE PRESSURE SEA PARAE GATE VAVES YOKE SEEVE The upper portion of the Yoke Sleeve is hexagonally tapered to fix the handwheel. The standard material of the Yoke Sleeve is Nodular Niresist D with over 1 (0µ) dissolution pot accordance with API Std. specifications. BONNET The bonnet is of a steel forgg identical to the body to sure high reliability. The bonnet has a perfect bodybonnet seal and both ease of dismantlg and reassembly are ensured. The bodies and bonnets of the valve are mached by special purpose maches to achieve perfect coaxiality and elimate any misalignment which may damage the stems. STEM The mached forged stem comes with a Tshape head, which connects the slot of the wedge. The contactg surface of the head is spherically shaped. thereby givg it greater strength and durability. It is heat treated to give it adequate mechanical properties and surface hardness. Accurate machg and lappg sure mimized friction durg openg and shuttg. BACK SEAT All of our valves are provided with positive backseat, and pac replacement can be done with the valve fully open. The conical seat and the guide are tegrally stellite faced. SEAT RING The Stellite surface of the seat rg is tegrally applied to the body by means of weldg all valve sizes. appg applied to the seatg surface ensures perfect matg with the wedge surfaces. PARAE DISC The parallel disc designed to absorb thermallyduced body distortion, thereby ma it ideal for high temperature steam or water supply pipg. A Stellite layer is applied to the seatg surface, and this deposit is subjected to a special heat treatment to secure required hardness and soundness. The lapped fish then sures perfect matg with the seats. BODY The valve body is cyldrically shaped to prevent distortion or undue stress durg extreme wor conditions. Inaddition, adequate paddg helps to achieve a sound cast structure critical area. The wall thickness is greater than, or accordance with API, ANSI and ASME requirements. The contact surfaces ensure that a mimum specific pressure is achieved. The close tolerances of the side diameter of this area are attaed by accurate machg and hong fish. 70
