Investors & Investments About Us In the last 27 years (since 1986), the Southland Rubber Group has built or acquired 12 processing units in Thailand.

3 Investors & Investments About Us In the last 27 years (since 1986), the Southland Rubber Group has built or acquired 12 processing units in Thailand. In the last 13 years (since year 2000), the Group has progressively expanded outside Thailand and developed 4 strategic marketing/trading units in Singapore (with sub-units in China and India); developed one processing unit in Malaysia; acquired 2 Indonesian and 1 Indian factories; and in joint-venture to develop another factory in Indonesian. The Group thrived well in competitive environments: 5 of the 12 processing units in Thailand were acquired from others in the industry and turned around from losses to profits and expanded. The Malaysian processing unit was established against the background where many competitors in the industry gave up but we succeeded profitably. Many Indonesian processors are facing strong competition and our Group has the opportunity to acquire selected units and to turn them around as well as to build new units. 3
