4 More Usable Power TG 7300/8300 models feature AGCO s Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). Widely recognized as one of the best and most reliable transmissions in the industry, CVT has been used in more than 150,000 off-road agricultural vehicles since its inception in Infinite Flexibility The CVT s true advantage is that it can efficiently provide infinite speeds, from zero to 41 mph, at virtually any engine rpm. Whereas the number of gears limits a conventional shifting transmission, the CVT fills in those gaps, increasing field speed and performance. The CVT lets you choose an exact ground speed, engine speed or a combination of both, ensuring that firm, continuous traction is applied, minimizing wheel slip and ground disturbance. You can control driving modes with the foot pedal, joystick or power shuttle. The power shuttle lever provides seamless forward and reverse shuttling and an active standstill (de-clutch) mode, and also lets you change speed in either direction by simply pushing the lever forward or pulling it back. TerraGator Management System The advanced TerraGator Management System (TMS) maintains an intelligent electronic link between engine and transmission using pedal or lever modes to automatically optimize engine speed to sustain any given ground speed. Using TMS reduces fuel consumption at times when high engine speed is not required. This smart system allows you to program the minimum engine rpm that will be required to achieve maximum application system efficiencies. Quick and easy to input the settings, this feature constantly monitors for optimum performance so you can stay focused on other tasks. 6 Pure Performance with e3 Technology The TG 7300/8300 Series features the powerful, efficient and clean AGCO Power diesel engine with e3 technology. At rated horsepower of 330- and 365 hp (246 and 272 kw) and able to produce peak horsepower of 361- and 393 hp (269 and 293 kw) these six-cylinder, 8.4-liter power units are the perfect matches for our continuously variable transmission. Each engine is hand-assembled and starts with a cast-iron block for exceptional structural strength. e3 Technology But the real story is the e3 technology that gives you the most farmerfriendly approach to meeting EPA standards. Unlike the EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) emission control you re probably familiar with, e3 is an SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) process. As simple as it is effective, our e3 version of SCR treats the downstream exhaust with Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF), which breaks down harmlessly into nitrogen and water vapor. It s a post-combustion, after-treatment process that takes place in the exhaust system, never interfering with engine performance. It s an entirely different and simple technology that s designed to provide you with uncompromised horsepower and torque, significantly improved fuel economy (10 17% better)*, cooler running and longer engine life. Electronic Engine Management 4 System These engines also incorporate the Electronic Engine Management 4 (EEM4) system. Developed exclusively for AGCO Power engines, it s our most advanced fuel injection system. 8 One Tough Chassis Designed for big acreage and maximum versatility, the TG 7300/ wheel floaters can handle the demands of spreading or spraying crop inputs over rough terrain day after day, year after year. The one-piece horizontal frame rails are a single length of high-grade, low-alloy steel. Unlike frames that are cut and re-welded, potentially resulting in weak spots, the TerraGator chassis has rectangular, tubular 4- x 12-inch (10.16 x cm) beams that are cold-formed and internally pressurized, reducing metal stress and allowing for flex during field operations. A three-piece drive line running from the transmission to the rear drive axles uses maintenance-free universal joints and hanger bearings, reducing maintenance and service time. The front axle is a freewheeling design that has a rated capacity of 14,000 pounds (6,350 kg). Durable, solid steel construction with two heavy-duty, self-aligning roller bearings ensures smooth turns and solid support. A 3-degree canted front fork maintains your ability to turn inside any application spread width of 45 feet (13.7 m) or more, while reducing ground disturbance when turning. High-flotation tires provide a smoother ride over rough terrain and keep you moving even in muddy conditions. Axle Tech Rear Drive Axle You won t find any modified truck axles on the TG 7300/8300 Series. These machines use rugged Axle Tech off-road, wide track axles that are designed specifically for use with high-flotation tires. In fact, at a whopping 42,000-pound (19,050 kg)-rated capacity, it s the highest in the industry. 9 INDUSTRY-LEADING RIDE At 22.8 feet (6.9 m), the wheelbase is the longest in the industry. That s good news for you, because a longer wheelbase produces a better ride so you re not worn out after a day in the field. Industry-Leading Paint and Finish Process The TG 7300/8300 Series features an industry-leading paint and finish process that provides years of protection from rust and corrosion. The chassis is shot-blasted, degreased and phosphate-treated prior to painting for maximum paint adhesion and corrosion resistance. Each component is individually painted prior to assembly with a rust-inhibiting epoxy and primer, and a high-gloss acrylic urethane topcoat using an airless, electrostatic spray process for maximum penetration and cover with no metalon-metal exposure. This provides exceptional resistance to chemicals, humidity and weather conditions to keep your machine looking great for years. Steering These machines are equipped with a dynamic load-sensing steering system that gives you smooth steering and can be operated even if you lose power. This steering system has an anti-kickback design to keep shock loads on rough terrain from transferring to the steering wheel, so you can maintain safe and comfortable control. DURABLE. DEPENDABLE. 11 Total Control in One Comfortable Package Our 6-post design offers exceptional visibility and is the industry s only cab engineered specifically for application equipment. These cabs boast a wide, panoramic front windshield, large side windows and a glass door so you ve got unobstructed views in every direction. Positive cab pressure maintained by a separate pressurization unit keeps unfiltered air out, while a 3-stage filtration process, with both internal and external filters and active carbon cleaning, keeps the cab air virtually dust- and odor-free. The HVAC system comes standard with automatic temperature control. Floating Armrest The right-hand armrest floats with your seat movement so you never have to search or reach for a control. It s adjustable and holds all of the functions you need for field operation in one logically laid-out, convenient space. TerraGator Management Center On the instrument cluster is the TerraGator Management Center (TMC). This information panel displays the main drive settings of the CVT, as well as other vital data such as fuel usage, battery voltage and transmission temperature. Stainless steel, 1,800-gallon product tanks, a 60-gallon (227.1 L) foam marker and conveniently located eductor all combine to create a professional liquid delivery system. Important delivery system features: Streamlined plumbing Designed for easy access and cleanout; delivers professional results with improved product flow and reduced turbulence. Durable, hydraulically driven product pump Located at the reload station, the gear pump attaches directly to the pressure manifold for increased output. Fail-safe sump valve The air-actuated sump valve is on the bottom of the product tank and automatically closes if air pressure is lost. 13 You Choose the Boom TerraGator offers you a choice of spray booms on all liquid systems, from fixed height with breakaway options to adjustable boom height in a variety of configurations. All of our booms are available in either a straight 80-foot (24.4 m) version or a versatile 60/80-foot (18.3/24.4 m) width. Both widths offer a choice of hose or stainless steel boom plumbing with 30- or 60-inch (76.2- or cm) nozzle spacing for precision application, which you control from the cab. TerraGator Boom Fixed-height TerraGator booms feature a unique design that allows full boom breakaway in both forward and reverse, as well as 5-foot tip breakaway. Dual hydraulic cylinders in place of springs control these booms, whether you re in the field or folding them up for transport. Benson Boom II If you need to be able to adjust boom height, you can t beat the versatility of the Benson Boom II system. Ideal for accurate applications on hillsides and rough, uneven terrain, the Benson Boom s center-pivot boom tree design lets you manage spray heights from 21 to 75 inches ( cm), while separate boom leveling cylinders allow the system to maintain a stable, level platform independent of vehicle movements. 14 dry systems Pneumatic booms or spinner single or multiple bins no equipment gives you more choices for product application than TerraGator. And when you need an air system, you can t beat the high-volume material capacity and output capabilities of our Air Spreader TM or AirMax Precision TM systems. No matter which system you choose, you can rest easy knowing that it features durable construction and corrosion-resistant materials for dependable performance. Air spreader systems The Air Spreader systems, which include single-, twin- and four-bin units, feature an open, free-flowing design with a unique distributor head engineered to provide more consistent application. This system facilitates complex multi-product application where accuracy is a must, with double-overlap coverage. Near-vertical hoses minimize clogging and allow for easy servicing and cleanout of individual boom tubes. The self-leveling, 70-foot (21.3 m) booms feature 5-foot (1.52 m) breakaway tips for added durability. The Soilection Twin Bin air spreader system offers individually variable rates in both bins for dispensing products at rates from 1 to 20 cubic feet/minute ( m 3 ). The horizontal charge auger and double-flighted vertical auger accurately blend crop nutrients. The two-compartment box has a 290-cubic-foot (8.2 m 3 ) struck capacity and features a 4-inch (10.16 cm) box extension and four splashguards. Bin level sensors and hydraulically controlled metering chains ensure true variable-rate application in each bin. Add the optional, dual 25-cubic-foot (.70 m 3 ) granular bin to the single or Twin Bin system to administer true variable-rate applications of several products in one pass. A co-application liquid system option is also available for the Air Spreader or Twin Bin systems. Two stainless steel, 200-gallon (757 L) tanks mount to the chassis between the rear tires, fuel tank and air cabinet. Product is driven hydraulically by an Ace centrifugal pump and has an application rate of 10 to 60 gallons ( L) per minute. spinners When it comes to high capacity from a spinner unit, you can t beat the output and volume capacity of the New Leader L4000G4 spinner boxes. These spinners feature wide, tapered sides so they fill quickly, and they are available in either 304 stainless steel or painted 409 stainless steel. Capacities are up to 331 cubic feet (9.4 m 3 ), and with the optional MultApplier modular hydraulic package, you can apply variable rates of two products in one pass, while the spinners deliver spread widths up to 90 feet (27.4 m), depending on the type of material applied. 14 DURABLE. 15 AirMax Precision Systems AirMax Precision is a single-bin dry system with impressive 70-foot (21.3 m) booms to ensure uniform application patterns with triple overlap coverage at a rate of up to 1,200 pounds (544.3 kg) per acre*. Booms float over washouts, terraces, rough ground and side hills to deliver material evenly. For higher product capacity, our 3.25-inch (8.25 cm) stainless steel product tubes are almost 20% wider in diameter than the competition s. Booms maintain their proper height with an independent boom suspension for a more uniform spread pattern. AirMax Precision 2 spreads up to two products at once with customizable co-application rates. A powerful air delivery system ensures accurate product placement even in windy conditions. For greater flexibility, this system allows 50/50 or 60/40 configurations in the adjustable, split main bin. Both AirMax Precision systems can be equipped with the optional 40-cubic-foot (1.13 m 3 ) granular bin and the Spray-Max 475 co-application system. The granular bin delivers up to three dry products. It mounts on the back of the main box to provide accurate applications of micronutrients without reducing main capacity. The Spray-Max 475 is a removable 475-gallon (1,798 L) stainless steel tank that adds liquid products to the AirMax Precision systems at rates of 7.5 to 70 gallons ( L) per minute. * Based on 65-lb. It s also the only controller AGCO offers that s capable of variable-rate applications of up to seven products at the same time.
