2 SIKA Flow Switches Sika level switches are the easy and reliable solution for monitoring fluid levels. The switches are installed at the side using G¾ or G½ thread sizes. The time-tested float principle and a potential-free contact as the signalling transmitter guarantee a high level of operational safety. The rising level in the tank forces the float up. Via paddle system, the magnet changes its position relative to Reed contact and actuates it. The repulsion between the two homopolar magnets and supports the buoyancy (Version VK different). As soon as the level sinks again, the float follows also and the magnet actuates the Reed contact again. Industrial thermometer The original SIKA thermometer in a high-quality V-shaped aluminium casing polished smooth on all sides, anodised in gold colour. The display area numbers are imprinted in black on the right-hand scale, underneath the anodic coating. This ensures indelible, durable print locked inside the anodised layer. Our thermometers are available as standard in three nominal sizes, with each in straight, 90 or 135 versions and a variety of display ranges from C to C. In addition, we provide immersion tubes in brass, steel, stainless steel, special brass or copper-nickel alloy, and a variety of optional connection types and threads. Our standard machine thermometer range encompasses more than seventeen thousand different versions. User-friendly model number enables the specifier to select optional gauges, relief and shut-off valves, and cylinder connections as part of the regulator assembly. KENCO SIGHT FLOW INDICATORS & SIGHT WINDOWS KSF CAST BODY SIGHT FLOW INDICATORS KSF cast body sight flow indicators have a heavy duty cast construction to handle pressure and temperature requirements. A glass window on either side provides product visibility. Mechanical indicators to enhance the visibility of the media include flappers, rotors, and drip tubes. The cast body and threaded or flanged connections meet ANSI standards. Standard materials of construction are carbon steel, 316 SS, ductile iron, and bronze. Hastelloy C 276 and alloy 20 can also be supplied. Please consult the factory for pricing. The KSF Sight Flows are available in two series ST and HT. The ST series is designed for standard temperatures and pressures while the HT series is designed for higher pressures and temperatures. Please see specifications for exact ratings of each. FVSF FULL VIEW SIGHT FLOW INDICATORS Full view sight flow indicator is used to observe the flow of liquids in a piping system. 360 visibility provides convenient viewing from any angle. Designed for vertical applications. Threaded and flanged connections are available in a variety of sizes to match the diameter of the pipe being used. A wide range of end plate materials is available. Units can be made with any overall length if additional visibility is required. Full view sight flow indicators are used in low-pressure applications. Maximum pressure allowable will vary with temperature and size. ASF ARMORED SIGHT FLOW INDICATORS Armored Sight Flow Indicators are used to observe the flow of liquids in a piping system. A rigid steel housing surrounds the sight tube and provides additional strength and protection from mechanical impact. Threaded and flanged connections are available in a variety of sizes to match the 3 of 6

4 diameter of the pipe being used. A wide range of housing materials is available. Units can be made with any overall length if additional visibility is required. Wetted materials consist of glass and the connection end plates. Recommended for low pressure vertical or horizontal applications. Maximum pressure allowable will vary with temperature and size. SIGHT WINDOWS Sight Windows are an effective and economical way of viewing tank, pressure vessel, piping system interiors. They are also referred to as sight glasses and are often replaceable or removable. Fluid clarity, color, level, and flow can be monitored through the window. Sight Windows can be mounted by bolting, welding or direct insertion into the end of the tank or pipe. Welding may require a radius pad that conforms to the pipe or curved vessels or a flat pad that mounts to a flat tank wall. KENCO OIL LEVEL CONTROLLERS AND OIL LEVEL SWITCHES The KENCO Oil Level Controllers are designed to control a constant oil level in the crankcase of stationary engines, compressors, and mechanical lubricator boxes. The KENCO oil controller works in conjunction with an overhead oil supply system which feeds the oil level controller. As the oil is consumed, the oil controller supplies the required amount of oil to maintain a proper level in the crankcase. The oil controller maintains the proper amount of oil in the crankcase by using a float controlled valve. The valve opens and closes as oil is needed in the crankcase to provide a constant oil level.
