2 HORIZONTAL LAMINAR FLOW HOOD FLO has been planned, built and tested in accordance with: 2014/35/UE (LOW TENSION) 2014/30/UE (EMC) 2006/42/CE (MACHINERY DIRECTIVE) 2011/65/UE (RoHS DIRECTIVE) Technical normatives CEI EN CERTIFICATION TUV SUD EN CERTIFICATION TUV SUD It complies with the rules: WEEE Directive 2012/19/UE CEI 66.5 E CEI U.S. FEDERAL STANDARD 209/E ISO DESCRIPTION The horizontal laminar flow hood mod FLO has been designed and built to allow the processing of controlled contamination products in a sterile environment (sterile preparation, microbiology soils), creating circumscribed area within the limits of class 100 (or ISO 5). The hood is not suitable for micro-organisms and particles which represent a risk for the operator and the environment. The laminar flow it is an unidirectional air flow formed by parallel sterile thin thread of air which move at the same speed in every point, so an homogeneous current of air is produced without any turbulence. In a sterile environment obtained in this way, every contaminator set free in the working area is dragged for away by a sterile source of air. The airflow is cleaned by an absolute hepa filter class H14. In this cabinet the sterile air flow coming from hepa filter, which is placed in front of operator and flows parallel to the work surface up to disperse in the environment. The horizontal laminar flow hood is designed to guarantee the maximum protection degree of the manipulated materials. Don t use it if the material can represents a potential danger (pathogen materials), because personnel is directly invested by the airflow coming from the work area. ATTENTION All the horizontal laminar flow hoods FLO, as an alternative to absolute HEPA filter, can be supplied with absolute ULPA filter (Ultra Low Penetration Air) tested in accordance with regulations C.E.N M.P.P.S 1822 with overall efficiency % class U15, which produce a sterile airflow to 0.3 micron class 10 according to Fed Std 209E, (Laser Test Royco 256) or ISO class 4 according to ISO ASAL s.r.l. 3 FEATURES Casing released in powdered painted steel acids resistant. Work surface in stainless steel Aisi 304 2B glazed. Lateral panels in tempered glass thickness 5 mm. Polycarbonate membrane control panel with microprocessor. Grey air/vacuum cock. Stand-by command, minimum airflow speed that allows maintaining the cabinet in sterile condition, when not in use. Digital hour counter of Hepa filter and UV germicide lamp (accessory on request) utilization, max 9999 hours. 30 W germicide UV lamp with PVC frontal screen (accessory by request). Possibility to program the hours use, by a timer, max 99 hours. In case of lack of tension if the germicide lamp is ON, at the return of tension the germicide UV lamp switch on again and the display start to blink. N 2 Electric service outlets IP55, inside the workroom. Lighting lamp: 30 W for 900 FLO FLO Lux Lighting lamp: 36 W per FLO Lux Prefilter in synthetic material class G3 (82% efficiency) in accordance with EN 779. Hepa absolute filter - tested M.P.P.S in accordance with C.E.N global efficiency % class H14, that produce a vertical laminar flow in class 100 at 0.3 micron, in accordance with Fed Std 209E (Laser Test Royco 256), or class ISO 5 in accordance with ISO On request hoods can be equipped with ULPA filter. Low background noise, electric fan that meets the requirements of the directives EN , EN 50178, EN 60950, approvals by VDE, CE, UL. Possibility to regulate airflow.
