The valve ody is made of nodular cast iron EN-GJS with flanges drilled accor ding to EN The thread for the actuator connection is G1B ISO 228. The valves have two alanced single seats and are designed for tight closu re. The leaage rate is less than 0.5% of the full flow (according to VI/VE 2174). Quality assurance All valves are manufactured under an ISO 9001 certification and are pres su re and leaage tested e fo re shipment. For marine applications the valves can e supplied with relevant test certificates from recognized clas si fi ca ti on societies. By increasing pres su re on the spind le, the opening of the ports chan ges pro port io nal ly to the travel of the spind le, and when the spindle is pres sed to the ottom, connection B-AB is fully op en and connec ti on A-AB comple te ly closed. For media temperature aove 170ºC, a cooling unit of type KS has to e applied.
