3 WARRANTY WARRANTY. On components and equipment manufactured by the Vendor, the Vendor warrants them to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of () one year or 2000 hours of operation, whichever comes first from the date of delivery to the first Buyer. 2. Two items are excluded from the standard one year warranty: hydraulic hoses and gripper belts.. On components manufactured by third parties, the Vendor assigns to the Buyer, to the extent assignable by the third partie s warranty, their standard warranty. 4. On hydraulic cylinders the Vendor warrants them for a period of () one year. 5. This warranty excludes damage or failure due to negligence, misuse, accident, improper operation, or improper installation by the Buyer. 6. By accepting the delivery of the equipment the Buyer acknowledges that the equipment is to be used only for the intended application. Use for any other application voids the warranty.. The Buyer agrees upon delivery of the equipment to release the Vendor from all claims and demands arising out of work performed by the Vendor s personnel or agents acting on his behalf. 8. In the event that the equipment fails through no fault of the Buyer, within the established warranty period, the Buyer s sole remedy and the Vendor s sole liability shall be replacement of parts for repair of the unit. If, at the Vendor's discretion, labor costs are to be covered, then the location and time of repair shall also be at the Vendor s discretion. 9. The Vendor will endeavor to fulfill the warranty either by repair or replacement at the earliest practical time. 0. It will be at the Vendor s discretion as to the specifics of the repair, such as choice of local repair facility or return of defective parts to the head office.. The Buyer shall pay all expenses of removal and transportation of defective equipment to the designated service facility, freight prepaid, for inspection and replacement, or credit, if applicable. 2. The Buyer shall pay all expenses related to the re-installation of defective parts.. Under no circumstances is the Vendor liable for incidental or consequential damages. Inspect arm cylinder mounting brackets for cracks and mounting X 4. Inspect upper and lower fork cylinder brackets for cracks and mounting X 5. Inspect complete dump arm for weld cracks and without damage X 6. Inspect grabber assembly for weld cracks and hub caps are present X. Inspect carriage assembly, slide and brackets for weld cracks X 8. Inspect container pockets and corners for weld cracks X 9. Inspect container safety pins and chains are secured and functional X 20. Inspect top and bottom roller bearings on the slide for excessive wear X 2. Inspect grabber belt has the proper tension and is without tears or wear X 22. Inspect grabber bottom plate assembly bolts are secure X 2. Inspect grabber shows no signs of rubbing on the container pocket X 24. Lift up on the grabber assembly to see whether the total vertical movement exceeds one inch. If it does replace the dump arm pivot pin and bushing X Failure to comply with lubrication intervals and lubrication points will result in premature wear and void warranty.
