2 1-Phase Wiring Instructions - Version1.7 Installation instructions for Residential Satic Saver (Single Phase) Please read this sheet prior to installation of the Residential Satic Saver. Locations and Information: 1. The Satic Saver was designed to be installed at the load center (breaker panel). 2. Many homes have multiple breaker panels and the Satic Saver can be installed on any breaker panel, providing there is space for the dedicated breaker. 3. The Satic Saver is designed to condition ALL phases of power in the home, regardless of installation location (phase-to-phase and each phase-to-neutral). 4. If there are no spaces available at the meter base or breaker panel, a subpanel can be installed for a dedicated breaker. 5. The Satic Saver single phase MUST be installed on a dedicated two-pole 15 amp breaker. Piggybacking is against national building codes. 6. The Satic Saver is enclosed in a NEMA 3R box allowing it to be installed indoors or outdoors, but it CANNOT be installed under water. Satic External Junction Box Example WARNING HAVE YOUR SATIC SAVER INSTALLED BY A LICENSED ELECTRICIAN. INSTALLING ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT MAY RESULT IN SHOCK, SERIOUS INJURY, OR EVEN DEATH. WARNING ELECTRICAL SHOCK MAY OCCUR, DO NOT OPEN. THERE ARE NO SERVICEABLE PARTS. Installation Instructions: 1. Install a two-pole 15 amp breaker. 2. Use the knock-outs on the panel or drill a hole into the box, allowing access to the breaker. Mount box in secure location with access to breaker using UL conduit. 3. Secure the two leads (red and black wires) of the ES1PN Satic Saver, one on each side of the breaker. 4. Secure the white wire from the ES1PN Satic Saver to the neutral bar in the panel. Leave breaker in OFF position until power is restored to the panel. 5. Reinstall the panel cover securely. 6. Flip the dedicated breaker to ON. A blue light on the Satic box will be illuminated. 7. If the light remains off, call customer support at SATIC. The Energy Saver can be placed on an existing empty breaker or a new 2-pole, 15 amp breaker (not included). Red Black White - Warranty - The Satic Saver has a three year warranty from date of installation. Please fill out the warranty card completely and return after installation is complete.
