Either may be conveniently used to accurately adjust direction and light intensity of each of the two luminaires (two light system). A designated magnetic strip on the wall control panel has been provided for storage of the remote control when not in use. Attach hanger bars to structural ceiling with wire or similar device. 3. Attach Channel to T-Bar (if applicable) with wire. NOTE: 1/2" Dia. rigid conduit (not supplied) may be used instead of channel hanger bars provided. 13 3401 EAST JEFFERSON AVENUE DETROIT, MI FAX: FIELD SERVICE and MAINTENANCE GUIDE: SERVICE GUIDE: THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES ARE PROVIDED TO ASSIST A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN WITH ISOLATING AND/OR REPLACING A POTENTIALLY PROBLEMATIC COMPONENT. If lamps do not turn ON: 1. Make sure lamps are installed and in good condition (not broken or burned out). 2. Make sure power is ON. 3. Inspect all splices in junction box. 4. Inspect connection to Wall Control. 5. Check fuse (in luminaire junction box). 6. Replace Wall Control with a known working unit. If lamps are ON, but "Select Light" or "Adjust Position" controls do not work: 1. Determine if Remote Control properly operates the lighting system. 2. Determine if Wall Control Panel properly operates the lighting system. 3. Isolate the problem by replacing the following components with a similar component from another unit (if available), as follows: >>> CAUTION: BE SURE POWER IS OFF TO PREVENT INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE TO ELECTRONICS. A. Replace 9V battery in Remote Control and repeat steps 2 and 3 above. B. Replace Wall Control and repeat steps 2 and 3 above. C. Replace Power Supply Assembly and repeat steps 2 and 3 above. If "Bright" or "Dim" controls do not work: 1. Determine if Remote Control properly operates the lighting system. 2. Determine if Wall Control Panel properly operates the lighting system. 3. Replace Wall Control and repeat steps 1 and 2 above. MAINTENANCE GUIDE: Replacing Lamps: 1. Turn off luminaire and allow lens and lamp to cool. 2. Remove lens. 3. Remove the old lamp by gently pushing the lamp and turning counter-clockwise. 4. Using a cloth or gloves, insert the new lamp in the socket by gently pushing the lamp in and turning clockwise. (Do not touch the lamp with your bare hands. If you do, remove fingerprints with rubbing alcohol. Replacing Remote Control Battery: 1. Turn Remote Control over and remove battery compartment door. 2. Remove old battery and replace with common 9V battery. Cleaning the Remote and Wall Controls: 1. Use a 70% isopropyl alcohol solution and soft cloth. 2. Wipe clean the surfaces of both the Remote and Wall Controls. Cleaning the Lens: 1. Turn off luminaire and allow lens and lamp to cool. 2. Use Windex and a squeegee to clean the lens. Repeat step if necessary. 7
