The PDM PRO system with the cast housing, UHMW liners & UHMW auger provide improved accuracy & consistency along with improved metering auger life. The retrofit kits come as a complete metering auger assembly. Shaft speed sensor, drive sprockets, clean-out cover, mounting gasket & slip clutch are not part of the kit & need to be transferred from your existing PDM PLUS metering auger assembly. The rear hitches on tillage machines & air drills manufactured prior to 00 were manufactured with a clevis that would only accept " pins. An interference problem occurs when trying to mate a new 0/00 to an older tillage or air drill because the hitch on the 0 & 00 air seeders are too large & physically will not fit between the clevis tabs on the older hitches used on the older tillage machines & air drills. Bourgault has developed a kit that will allow a customer to modify the existing hitch with the older, smaller clevis on a tillage machine or air drill to the larger clevis that will connect with the larger air seeder hitch.
