Receives an O/O state of each mode from the drive mode select switch and transmits the switch signal to T, combination meter, 4WS main control unit, and S control unit via communications. isplays a mode state on the vehicle information display, based on the mode state received from the / auto amp. Receives a mode signal from T and controls throttle angle characteristics and torque. Selects a shift pattern, based on a mode state received from the / auto amp. 5 SYST < SYST SRTO > [nfiniti rive ode Selector] SYST nfiniti rive ode Selector nfiniti rive ode Selector : System escription SYST R O: The / auto amp. receives an operational state of the drive mode select switch and transmits a mode signal (See below.) to each unit via communications. - STR: O/O - SORT: O/O - O: O/O - SOW: O/O T transmits a mode state to and S control unit via communications, based on a mode signal received from the / auto amp. transmits an O pedal control signal to the S control unit via communications. The S control unit controls pedal reaction force of the accelerator pedal actuator via TS communications, based on an O pedal control signal received from. The S control unit receives a mode signal from the / auto amp. and changes the characteristics of the active trace control function via communications with the S actuator and electric unit. OTRO SRTO The T drive mode selector switches a vehicle mode with the flick of a switch (rive mode select switch) mounted on upper part of the center console and changes the control characteristics of the powertrain and chassis. The vehicle characteristics are controlled from the STR mode ( position of the drive mode select switch) to any mode listed below: - SORT: hanging the control characteristics of the engine transmission, 4WS, and active trace control function enables the use of high engine performance regions to obtain a light and crisp feel of the steering wheel. - O: uel economy is enhanced by changing the control characteristics of the engine transmission and using an O pedal. - SOW: hanging the engine characteristics enables the obtainment of higher driving performance on roads with low coefficient of friction. : applicable tems ontrol ode SORT O SOW ngine Transmission Selects shift pattern. ontrol S2888 hanges throttle angle characteristics and controls torque. ontrols the lighting of the O drive indicator lamp. O RV TOR This system supports O driving by controlling the O drive indicator lamp in the combination meter, according to an accelerator pedal depression during O mode. The O drive indicator lamp changes depending on the state of the fuel-efficient region, fuel-efficient limit region, or fuel-efficient region excess. While driving at low speeds [3 (4.8 km/h) or less] or high speeds [90 (144 km/h) or more]. ntelligent cruise control is in operation. Selector lever is in R range.
