4 DeckmountConverters 4400Series The 4400 Series of converters from Parallax Power Supply is part of the ParaMode converter product line. ParaMode converters are modular products that have the ability to be upgraded in the field and interact with other Parallax products. Our new innovative design invites more airflow, which allows key components to operate cooler, and in return, last longer. 5 DeckmountConverters 5400Series The 5400 series of high quality deckmount converters feature active power factor correction, which allows the converter to make better use of incoming power. The 65 and 75 amp deckmount converters operate on a standard 15 amp outlet. Our 65 and 75A units aren t the only products that benefit from this extremely efficient feature. Our 90A unit is capable of operating on a standard 20 amp outlet. This series is part of the ParaMode converter product line. ParaMode converters are modular products that have the ability to be upgraded in the field and interact with other Parallax products. The 5400 series is compatible with an abundance of accessories including the TempAssure module. Our patented TempAssure technology allows your battery to charge in any season or environment with full protection against shorts. TempAssure features temperature compensated charging that adjusts to the ideal voltage required based upon battery temperature. 12 ReplacementUpgrades 4400TAU The 4400TAU unit will improve any classic 4400 and 5400 converters as well as 5300 and 8300 power centers, by adding the benefits of the TempAssure module. 15 Energy Management Devices ALS & BRSeries ALS 20 This automatic load shed device helps electrical systems safely operate more items from a limited number of circuit breakers. This was possible by implementing two 20 - amp loads from a single 20-amp branch circuit. ALS 20 is designed to meet the requirements of NEC section (C) which allows the operation of two 120-volt controlled devices. In a typical RV installation, ALS 20 has a shedable load, such as an electric water heater, connected to the shed circuit and a priority load circuit that is generally used to power appliances. The device on the shed circuit can be delayed temporarily via the ALS 20 to allow an on demand appliance to be operated when needed.
