4 Ideally designed for greater operating comfort. Deluxe Heating and Air Conditioning The air-conditioning system brings year-round comfort to the job. Ventilation ducts are strategically placed to prevent the front window from fogging and keep your feet warm in cold weather. The rounded cab further enhances the airflow to keep you comfortable during long hours of work. Deluxe Instructor s Seat (Optional) The optional foldable instructor s seat useful for giving tutorials to new operators features a wider cushion for greater riding comfort, yet maintains spaciousness to the cab even when used.

5 GRAND COMFORT Finger-touch Power Shuttle Cleverly located behind the steering wheel, the new finger-touch Power Shuttle lever offers easy shifting between forward and reverse. The lever is always close at hand regardless of the steering wheel s tilt (up/down) or telescopic (front/back) position. ERGONOMICALLY DESIGNED COCKPIT The Grand X s advanced cab is designed for greater operating comfort. All displays, levers and controls including those for audio and air conditioning are strategically located on the right console or around the steering wheel for easy access and intuitive operation. Always Within Hand s Reach Operating levers and switches for controlling hydraulics and shifts offer an ergonomically-designed armrest to increase ease of use and reduce fatigue. Front and Side Multifunctional Display View vital information about your tractor regardless of your seating position with the LCD panels located in the meter panel and the right control console. Front Meter Panel Located within the meters the LCD front meter panel provides valuable information about the tractor s current status at a glance.

Tilt and Telescopic Power Steering with Shuttle Lever Tilt and telescopic steering offers the ideal driving position while power steering makes steering easier even in rough terrain. The Power Shuttle lever is always at hand regardless of the steering wheel position. Deluxe Air-ride Seat The Grand X is equipped with a reclining and automatic height- and weight-control airsuspension seat that s especially designed to absorb shock and reduce operator fatigue. The seat also features a left-and-right swivel function, which eases rearward viewing, as well as entering and exiting.

7 GRAND VIEW MAGNIFICENT FIELD OF VIEW The Grand X provides a wide and virtually unobstructed field of view from every angle thanks to the new rounded cab with no centre pillars. The cab has also been raised to provide a higher viewpoint, while the hydraulic control levers and air conditioner are positioned for greater rearward visibility. The bottom-hinged windscreen wiper enhances visibility by wiping the lower glass area, giving the operator a clear view of the front wheels. Plus, the standard-equipped under-hood corner-post exhaust pipe is specially positioned to remain out of the way to give an unobstructed forward view. Offset implements are also easy to see, and the wide opening doors make entry and exit easier. Wide Rear View To help you perform jobs more efficiently and safely, the lower rear panel has been replaced with glass. You ll always have a clear view of what s going on behind you. Radio-CD Player with Weather Band Audio controls are also moved to the right control console for easier access to controls and weather information. New Opening/ Closing Roof Panel The roof panel can be tilted open to provide fresh-air ventilation for added comfort. The advanced 4-valve per cylinder centre direct injection (E-CDIS) fully electronically controlled common-rail engines realise smooth responsive performance with low fuel consumption, and reduced noise and vibration. With a maximum of 4 injections per stroke, multi-stage fuel injection provides optimal fuel injection timing and precise injection pressure and amount to enhance power and torque while keeping fuel consumption to a minimum. The combination of the DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) muffler and EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) along with the further balanced body* reduce harmful emissions to make Grand X Euro Stage IIIB compliant. * Compared to previous KUBOTA tractors. Easier Cleaning and Maintenance For fast cleaning, the sliding, louverlesstype AC condenser and condenser protective screen can be easily removed. The flat surface of the battery and tray also makes serviceability easier. One-piece Fullopen Hood The new one-piece hood fully opens for easier access to the engine for maintenance. The hood is also slanted to increase visibility. New Front Face The smooth, flat, and easy-to-clean front grille design prevents hay, straw, and grass from getting caught inside the tractor. And, by allowing a high volume of air to flow in, the engine stays cooler. In addition, the lower front mask is specially designed to prevent grass and dust from entering the engine compartment.

NEW INTELLI-SHIFT 8 TRANSMISSION 8-SPEED TRIPLE RANGE POWER SHIFT WITH AUTO-MODE For maximum work efficiency and greater fuel economy, the Grand X is equipped with Kubota s new Intelli-Shift 8 transmission. With 8 speeds and a 3-range hi/mid/low range power shift and Auto mode, it offers a total of 24 forward and 24 reverse speeds for precise shifting to with minimal shift shock and power loss. Power- and range-shifting is conveniently possible with a single lever or push-button control, eliminating the hassle of stopping and using the clutch pedal for fatigue-free operation throughout the range. In Travel mode, the gears will be adjusted depending on road conditions and amount of acceleration; uphill and downhill. In Field mode, a downshift of 2 gears occurs once the three-point hitch has been raised. Field mode also keeps drops in PTO revolution to a minimum when the PTO switch is engaged. Auto Mode switch Auto Mode sensitivity adjustment dial Auto Mode status display Light soil To maintain optimum working speed in the least demanding terrain, the transmission stays in your preset gear, for example 4th. Heavy soil For working in heavy soil, the transmission automatically downshifts to 3rd gear, then to 2nd, and 1st if required. When the terrain changes to light soil, the transmission automatically shifts back up to 4th. Uphill To power up an incline, the transmission automatically downshifts up to 3 speeds after sensing an increase in engine load by dropping the rpm. Downhill When the crest of a hill has been reached, the transmission will automatically upshift in order to regain optimum working speed.

11 GRAND HANDLING KUBOTA ELECTRONIC MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (K-EMS) Work Cruise The Grand X engines feature a fully electronic controlled engine that keeps the revolution constant, preventing engine rpm drops due to adverse working conditions ensuring stable operation. Used with the transmission s Auto Mode feature, Work Cruise makes working with PTO-driven implements much more efficient. RPM Dual Memory With the press of a button, you can now pre-set and save up to two frequently used engine RPM settings. So whether you have a favourite setting for heavy work, changing directions or making turns, your Kubota runs just the way you want, without having to adjust the throttle. Example: Setting A: Plowing SettingB: Turning Integrated Control System An integrated controller area network (CAN) connects all microprocessors (engine, transmission, hydraulics, operational controls) monitoring tractor status and operator actions to provide optimal, integrated control of the tractor. Rev-limiter Control Dial With the simple turn of a dial, you can easily regulate engine revolution in 10 RPM increments. Work Cruise ON: When the engine RPM is set and Work Cruise is switched on, the computer automatically adjusts the engine control to maintain that engine RPM level regardless of the load, providing highly precise and uniform seeding and fertilising for stable crop yields and reduced agricultural material waste at the same time*. * Use with Auto Mode to prevent drops in engine RPM when exceeding the engine s capabilities.

DESIGNED FOR STABILITY AND AGILITY The Grand X is built for solid handling and traction to tackle almost any job it can handle. Its long wheelbase provides outstanding straight-line stability and pulling power, yet it offers the agile manoeuvrability and operability of more compact tractors. Bi-speed Turn The standard-equipped Bi-Speed Turn system provides the quick and agile manoeuvrability you need to tackle narrow sections such as the furrows for crops without damaging the headlands. Well-sealed Bevel-gear Front Axle Another Kubota exclusive, the bevelgear front-wheel drive enables the tractors to achieve a tight turning radius, thanks to a generous 50 wheelturning angle, enabling easier handling in varying conditions. The bevel gear design eliminates open U-joints and all components are hermetically sealed in oil. It works seamlessly with the shock absorber to smoothly negotiate rough terrain. Suspension stiffness can be adjusted manually or automatically in three stages (Firm/Normal/Soft) or locked to best meet your needs.

13 GRAND FOOTWORK Electro-Hydraulic Differential Locks Getting bogged down in mud will no longer slow you down with this feature. Simply engage the electro-hydraulic differential locks on both front and rear wheels to achieve positive traction and you re up and out and back on the job. High Crop Clearance One of the highest crop clearances in its class is maintained with Kubota s exclusive front bevel gear construction and the front axle propeller shaft which passes through the engine oil pan to provide ample clearance.

Exclusively Designed Powerful Front Loader Kubota s original Front Loader is specially designed to be fully integrated with the design of the Grand X, and provides dramatically increased lifting power, perfect for farm use. It not only gives a sleeker look, it provides better visibility and clearer sight lines to the bucket and loader sides for smoother operation. WIDE & CLEAR FRONT Hydraulic Auxiliary Control Valve To ensure faster loader cycle times and instantaneous implement response, the new Grand X tractors have highflow hydraulic valves. Two remote valves come standard a SCD/Self-Canceling Detent and FD/Float-type valve - a further unloading valve is available to reduce power loss. The maximum installation is 4 valves. High-capacity External Hydraulic Cylinder For the smoothest implement handling and extra speed of front loader and rear implement operations, the Grand X comes equipped with gear-type hydraulic pumps. An external hydraulic cylinder improves lifting force and eases access for maintenance, while the adoption of an unload valve minimises loss to hydraulic pressure to exert greater power during PTO operations when the 3-point hitch is not in use. Maximum lifting capacities are 6100kg (M135GX) and the 5000 kg (M110GX). Quick Hook-type 3P End This timesaving feature allows you to quickly attach and detach implements with an easy-to-operate hook. Extarnal 3P Switch ( L & R)

VIEW Kubota Original Hydraulic Self-leveling System (Optional) Single Lever Quick Coupler Front Loader Joystick Located in the control console for smooth and effortless shifting and better forward visibility, our Front Loader Joystick greatly simplifies front loader operation so you can concentrate more on the work ahead. The Series Circuit makes possible simultaneous boom and bucket operation while the Regenerative Bucket Dump Circuit enables quick dumping for efficient operation with quick cycle times. (Joystick pictured features optional 3rd function valve button.) Kubota Shockless Ride (KSR) The KSR absorbs loader shock and reduces operator fatigue. This option is perfect if your tasks include a great deal of tight turns or lifting and dumping of heavy loads. It effectively takes the bounce out of handling round bales. New Hydraulic Shuttle Lever Conveniently located behind the steering wheel, the hydraulic shuttle lever eliminates the need to depress a clutch when shifting between forward and reverse.
