1 TR V1 HD Clutch System TUR0012 Kit Includes: 1pc. Enclosed Clutch Carrier w/bearings 1pc. HD One Piece Gear Plate w/bearing Optional TR Pinion. 2 The bearings in your kit are Team Fast Eddy Bearings and are available at your favorite dealer. The bearings in the Enclosed Carrier have been packed with a grease specific to this application so we suggest TFE replacements. This product fits All Baja models. Trucks involve a few more items to remove.

3 1. Remove body panels/body, body mounts on clutch side and under skid. 2. Remove gear cover and spur gear. 3. Remove and keep plastic gear plate slot cover, 2pcs rubber hole plugs and purple spacer from lay shaft.

4 4. Remove Brake assembly. 5. Remove trans plate mount and all carrier screws. You can remove the trans plate mount (upper left) and lower left carrier screw by running hex wrench through gear plate. You may also choose to remove rear tire for convenience.

5 6. Now slide the stock clutch assembly off.

6 7. Remove 4 remaining flathead screws from trans plate and remove brake rotors and brake hex.

7 8. Assemble TR clutch bell into TR enclosed carrier. Line up the slot in TR pinion with TR clutch bell and assemble TR pinion into bell. Spin pinion until it mates with the bell and fully seats into carrier and bell. Install M6x25 SocketHead into pinion and tighten lightly.

9 When assembled correctly, there will be a minimal gap between pinion and bearing. 9. Raise trans plate and install TR carrier assembly onto Baja.

10 10. Install M6x12 ButtonHead in upper left hole of carrier. Install M6x16 ButtonHeads into Lower left and right holes of carrier, do not tighten any screws yet. 11. Install frame brace using M6x30 ButtonHead. Install stock 2pcs. M5 flatheads into frame brace, do not tighten.

11 12. Install brake hex and brake rotors. 13. Install and tighten 4 screws in trans plate that were removed in step Install M4x6 ButtonHead in TR GearPlate to secure bearing.

12 15. Slide TR GearPlate onto Lay Shaft and Carrier Bearing. Install 2pcs. M5x16 FlatHeads through gear plate into carrier but do not tighten yet. I suggest using Blue Thread Lock on these screws as they have a tendency to come lose (Do not tighten yet). 16. Install Brake assembly, use M4x25 SocketHeads provided in place of stock M4x50 SocketHeads. 17. Now you may tighten ALL screws.

13 18. Install both HPI rubber hole plugs, plastic slot cover, and purple spacer removed in step Install Spur Gear and retaining clip, I highly recommend using a new clip.

14 20. Tighten TR Pinion gear using a spare spur gear to lock pinion and spur gear. 21. Install gear cover, body panels/body and under skid.

15 The screw kit provided with the TR HD Clutch System are the same screws provided with all of our Clutch Systems so there will be screws in the kit not used. Our screw kits are available through our distributors/dealers.
