6 Installing the product For horizontal installation Fix Mounting rail with screws supplied by installer (Pan head screws M5). LED fixture and Mounting rail can be bent horizontally at minimum radius mm. Please fix with the same number of screws as the number of screw holes. LED fixture and Mounting rail might be damaged when it is twisted and bent improperly. NG Attach Mounting clips for rail to Mounting rail every 00mm as below picture. (Recommended number of clips: 3pcs for mm, 6pcs for 600mm, 0pcs for 000mm) Installation of Mounting clip Tilt and hook one side of Mounting clip to Mounting rail, rotate clips and insert another side of clip until click sounds. 00 mm 00 mm Click! Installation of LED fixture in Mounting clip Insert LED fixture until the position as below. Cautions Please be careful not to push LED fixture hardly and damage LED fixture, electric parts, circuit board by finger or tools. It might cause a defect. LED fixture 4 Connect the connector attached with LED fixture and the connector of power supply cable in proper position. Make sure to rotate the fastening part until no longer can rotate. 7 For installing on sloping surface Fold the side of Mounting rail under Mounting clip by hand. Push Outdoor Outdoor Strip Light LFXK Fold by hand Push Cautions Make sure to do this procedure. Otherwise, it may cause slipping and falling of LED fixture from Mounting rail and clips. Adjust the position of Mounting clips being hooked at the folded part of Mounting rail to avoid falling. Mounting clip is hooked at the folded rail NG 45 Cautions This product cannot be used in vertical installation. Do not install LED fixture and Mounting rail more than 45 degree. The mounting clip might slip and LED fixture might drop from Mounting rail. OK OK Connecting to the power supply Cables used for connecting LED fixtures and Power supply must be a suitable type and gauge. Cables should be joined with suitable terminal block or methods as appropriate to the installation and operating environment. Caution: When using a long cable with thin dimension, the resistance of cable will increase. Voltage drop and heat dispatching may occur and result in brightness decreasing. Caution: When separating one cable to multiple circuits in the same gauge, the current loading focuses on the junction of the branch circuit and high temperature will liberate on there. Please consider the loading of the power supply (quantity of LED fixture) and review the wiring system to avoid the above problem. When connecting the dimmer driver with power supply, unpredicted noise might occur. It is a characteristic of electronic devices, not a malfunction of the LED fixture. Please choose an appropriate power supply and consider a place to install. Reducing the loading factor of LED fixture might improve the noise from the power supply while the noise for the LED fixtures might be improved by splitting the circuit of LED fixtures into multiple. When you adjust the length of the power supply cable, please be careful not to damage the core wire. System configuration diagram The number of LED fixtures that can be connected to the power supply depends on the output (W) of the power supply. For Luci FLEX α KINU, the maximum number connectable in series is 5 m. If more than the maximum number must be connected, connect in separate systems. Small noise may be emitted from the appliance and the dimmer while using the dimmer, but it is normal. Load capacity of 60% is recommended to reduce noise.
