The majority of Grosvenor s utilise high efficiency ball valves, with the larger flow rate applications using poppet valves. The pump heads and valves are designed for optimum hydraulic efficiency and are available in a wide range of engineering materials. All pumps can be fitted with either electric or air driven motors. They are available in a range of sizes and specifications including IP55 as standard. Non-sparking and flameproof motors can be supplied for hazardous areas on request under ATEX certification. The complete range of services enable projects to progress smoothly from concept through design and manufacture to commissioning. The main applications are high and low pressure chemical dosing and metering, covering a wide spectrum of industries. These include Power Generation, Water Treatment, Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Marine and Manufacturing. The packaged dosing units are primarily designed for use with the Grosvenor plunger and diaphragm range, producing outputs of 1 to 450 L/hr (fixed or variable output). Larger units can be designed to accommodate other pumps from the Grosvenor ranges. Medium Density Polyethylene tanks are available in 50, 100, 200, 500 and 1000 litre capacities. The tank is calibrated and is supplied with a screw lid. All systems can be supplied with either a hand or motorised mixer if required. These mixers are available in 316 Stainless Steel or upvc depending on application. Dosing Tanks Medium density polyethylene dosing tank complete with steel base and suction connection with ball valve and strainer. Suitable for use with Grosvenor or Variflow pumps. Tanks are available in 50, 100, 200, 500 and 1000 litre capacities. Motorised Mixers The motor is flange mounted to the tank. The mixer shaft and impeller are manufactured in upvc or 316 Stainless Steel (other materials available on request). A range of motorised mixers are available to suit all applications. 3

The eccentric then operates the pump end by a connecting rod. s are supplied with electric or air motors as standard, although if specified, pumps can be supplied without the motor. Depending on the selected pump, standard motors can be between 0.25kW and 11.0kW. Standard pumps can be fitted with higher rated motors in order to achieve higher pressure outputs.. 4 Pressurisation Pressure Tests & Systems Food Processing & Beverages Treating Oil & Natural Gas Water Treatment & Purification All Grosvenor s can be fitted with mechanical or electrical speed control in order to achieve the desired output. A latest feature to the Grosvenor range is the Grosvenor Varitronic Control System. The Varitronic unit can be fitted to new pumps or retrospectively to existing pumps already in use. Grosvenor s s have been built with simplicity and durability in mind. All gearbox parts are lubricated by an oil bath. The gearbox only requiring a periodical check of oil level and routine oil changes. The gearbox casing is high grade cast iron and a separate pump head is available in a range of alternative materials to suit a wide range of aggressive liquids.

Gland seals and O-rings are Nitrile or PTFE. The standard Piston Range utilises a Cast Iron body with internal parts of Stainless Steel, Bronze and Brass. Valves are of poppet type with Nitrile or PTFE seals. The standard gland seals and bucket cups are Nitrile. Feeding Low Output Steam Generators Hot Water to Steam Generators Power Station Applications Any other application where economical positive feed of liquids is required The Range is available with wetted parts in high grade engineering plastics or 316 Stainless Steel enabling a wide range of aggressive liquids to be handled, and no gland means no leakage. A secondary diaphragm can be fitted to maintain flow if the primary diaphragm ruptures, with a sensor to operate a local or remote alarm. Mechanically actuated diaphragm pumps require minimal maintenance. The pump head can run dry. Our standard pump head is made from upvc or 316 Stainless Steel with a PTFE diaphragm. Standard units operate up to 60 o C although other materials are available on request. Valve balls are available as standard in Glass, Polypropylene or Stainless Steel. 6 New Grosvenor Control System - Varitronic Varitronic is an AC variable drive module, integrated with the pump unit itself to provide local and/or remote flow adjustment. An IP66 washdown enclosure, dust tight seals and specially coated heatsink create a robust and resilient control module. Aimed specifically at industrial automation applications, requiring Process Control options as well as local manual control, the Varitronic module provides powerful, user adaptability to cater for a wealth of Process requirements and application scenarios. The local keypad control provides basic manual control functions and a step menu to access drive parameters. A high visibility LED display provides indication of motor real time parameters such as speed and current draw. It can also be configured to show actual flow rate within process. Features include an on-board Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) controller, eliminating the need for additional external equipment and providing the user with an extensive range of programming options for stand alone pump operation within process. The Varitronic incorporates a nonspecific, scalable input allowing various Transducer hook-ups for PID control. The Varitronic module is mounted on the motor as standard and the unit can be orientated in relation to the gearbox to suit installation requirements. The unit can also be supplied detatched to allow for remote installation. 7 Ancillaries Grosvenor s stock most spares for their pumps and as a result, are usually dispatched the next working day. These are suitable for most chemicals and essential to maintain pump prime during suction lift applications. Single connection is supplied as standard in 1/4 BSP,, or 1 BSP. Retractable Injection Fitting Ideal for safe injection of chemicals into a primary process. Consisting of an efficient non-return valve and quill with an added safety shut off valve to enable any necessary maintenance of the valve to be carried out without disrupting the main process. Standard material is Stainless Steel (other materials available on request). Stainless Steel Injection Fitting Ideal for safe injection of chemicals into a primary process. Consisting of an efficient non-return valve. The injection tube can be supplied to the length required for the process. Standard material is Stainless Steel (other materials available on request). Suction Lance & Depletion Alarm A compact suction lance complete with foot valve and built in depletion alarm switch to detect tank low level. Lance body is upvc, foot valve ball is glass, seals available in EPDM or upvc and the alarm switch is upvc. The output is from a volt free reed switch N/O rating 125 Vac/dc, 15 watts and supplied with two metre flying lead. 7 Grosvenor Loading / Relief Valve This is a spring loaded diaphragm type and can be used as either a loading valve or a relief valve. The wetted parts are Stainless Steel or upvc, the diaphragm is PTFE and the maximum pressure it can withstand is up to 10 bar. Standard port size is 1/2 bsp. The loading valve is required to ensure accurate flow rates where inadequate discharge pressure is available in the system or negative differential pressure is present. They are also beneficial with long pipe runs where momentum of liquid causes overrun past pump valves. The relief valve is an essential component to protect plant and personnel from damage. This relief valve is mounted in the pump discharge pipe with the outlet pipe going to a safe location. Externally Adjustable Relief Valve The Externally Adjustable Relief Valve has 316 Stainless Steel wetted parts, the spring is constructed from 17-7 ph Stainless Steel, Seals are available in PTFE, Viton, Buna N, Neoprene and Ethylene Propylene. Maximum working pressure up to 414 bar. Cracking pressure is adjustable from 3.4 to 414 bar and the maximum outlet pressure is 103 bar. Call us today on +44 (0)

8 The Bladder Type Pulsation Damper A bladder type pulsation damper manufactured from Stainless Steel or Polypropylene. Bladders are available in various elastomers to suit most applications. These dampers are available from 0.1 to 15 litres and designed for pressures up to 295 bar (depending on size and materials). The single connection can be supplied either threaded or flanged. PTFE Pulsation Damper A diaphragm type pulsation damper manufactured from Stainless Steel, PVC or Polypropylene supplied with diaphragms manufactured from PTFE. These dampers are available from 0.05 to 100 litres and designed for pressures up to 40 bar (depending on size and material). The single connection can be supplied either threaded or flanged.
