For these purpose we manufacture 8MC-12R1 & 8MC-36R1 ser es cub cles accord ng to the IEC standards. Cub cle s bu lt w th 4 separate compartments; cable nlet, busbar, low voltage & breaker compartments. By th s, dur ng a fault, only the faulty area s defected & other compartments are protected. Cub cle Body It has been manufactured w th 2-2, 5 mm th ck galvan zed metal sheets. The outer body & the base have earth ng. Earth ng System In 8MC metal clad cub cles, n order to prov de secur ty dur ng ma ntenance procedures, the chass s of the ma n c rcu t components & all the other components that requ res earth ng, wh ch are normally access ble, have been connected d rectly to the earth ng busbar, located n the cub cle. Each cub cle s earth ng busbar has been located & v s ble n the front s de n order to have the cont nu ty of the earth ng. If more than 1 p ece of these cub cles w ll be used to make a plant by x ng them s de by s de, the earth ng busbars are connected by bolts & t appears n the front of the cub cle group. Th s earth ng busbar then connected to the system s earth ng & by th s the earth ng procedure s completed. In order to open the door of the cub cle, the handcart should be separated & locked on that pos t on. Chang ng of the pos t on of the handcart from separated pos t on to operat on can be done only when the door s closed. All locks can be done only by a mechan cally work ng spec al key.
