33 QUARTERLY ROAD TRANSITS TO THE EAST The quantity of the transit export (1000 tons) The total quantity of the road transits in 2007 was 3,7 million tons. The value of the transit export (EUR billion) The total value of the road transits in 2007 was approximately 30,7 EUR billion. The estimate is based on the price level of the Finnish export to Russia and the Russian import from the West. 31
