4 0 3/8 X -3/ 5 3/8 X 3-3/ 7 FIGURE STEP : LOOSELY assemble the top of the PIVOT ARM SUPPORT () to the TOWER () using four RH CAPS (0), two 3/8 X -3/ BOLTS (5), four 3/8 SAE WASHERS (), four 3/8 RH WASHERS () and two 3/8 LOW HEIGHT LOCK NUTS () as shown in FIGURE. LOOSELY assemble the bottom of the PIVOT ARM SUPPORT () to the TOWER () using four RH CAPS (0), two 3/8 X 3-3/ BOLTS (7), four 3/8 SAE WASHERS (), four 3/8 RH WASHERS () and two 3/8 LOW HEIGHT LOCK NUTS () as shown in FIGURE. / / / / / /

5 3/8 X 3-3/ 7 0 FIGURE STEP : LOOSELY assemble the SEAT FRAME () to the PIOVT ARM SUPPORT () using four RH CAPS (0), two 3/8 X 3-3/ BOLTS (7), four 3/8 SAE WASHERS (), four 3/8 RH WASHERS (), and two 3/8 LOW HEIGHT LOCK NUTS () as shown in FIGURE. 5

6 /8 X -3/ 5 FIGURE 3 STEP 3: LOOSELY assemble the CROSS SUPPORT (8) to the TOWER () and SEAT FRAME () using eight RH CAPS (0), four 3/8 X -3/ BOLTS (5), eight 3/8 SAE WASHERS (), eight 3/8 RH WASHERS () and four 3/8 LOW HEIGHT LOCK NUTS () as shown in FIGURE 3. Assemble one -/ RUBBER BUMPER (8) to the PIVOT ARM SUPPORT () as shown in FIGURE 3. Securely tighten all loose frame connections made to this point, in the following order:.tighten the CROSS SUPPORT (8) to the TOWER () and SEAT FRAME ()..Tighten the SEAT FRAME () to the PIVOT ARM SUPPORT (). 3. Tighten the PIVOT ARM SUPPORT () to the TOWER () (upper and lower).. Snap RH CAPS (0) over the RH WASHERS () on all tightened connections. / / / / / /

7 0 0 3/8 X -3/ 5 FIGURE STEP : SECURELY assemble the 6 TUBE (0) to the SEAT FRAME () using four RH CAPS (0), two 3/8 X -3/ BOLTS (5), four 3/8 SAE WASHERS (), four 3/8 RH WASHERS () and two 3/8 LOW HEIGHT LOCK NUTS () as shown in FIGURE. 7

8 30 8 3/8 X 3 BUTTON HEAD FIGURE 5 STEP 5: Slide one ACCORDION SLEEVE (30), one 3 ACCORDIAN SLEEVE (3) and two PILLOW BLOCKS (3) over the shaft of the PIVOT ARM () as shown in FIGURE 5. Assemble four 3/8 X 3 BUTTON HEAD CAP SCREWS (8) and four STARLOCK WASHERS (0) to the the PILLOW BLOCKS (3) as shown in FIGURE 5 0 TIGHTEN! SET SCREWS 3 3/8 X 3 8 BUTTON HEAD FIGURE 6 STEP 6: SECURELY assemble the PILLOW BLOCKS (3) on the PIVOT ARM () to the PIVOT ARM SUPPORT () using the four previously inserted 3/8 X 3 BUTTON HEAD CAP SCREWS (8), four 3/8 SAE WASHERS (), four RH WASHERS (), four 3/8 LOW HEIGHT LOCK NUTS () and four RH CAPS (0) as shown in FIGURE 6. IMPORTANT! When PIVOT ARM () is centered and level in the PILLOW BLOCKS (3), tighten the PILLOW BLOCK set screws. 8

11 /8 X -/ 0 FIGURE STEP : SECURELY assemble the COUNTER BALANCE (7) to the PIVOT ARM () using two BLACK RH CAPS (6), two RH CAPS (0), two 3/8 X -/ BOLTS (3), four 3/8 SAE WASHERS (), four 3/8 RH WASHERS () and two 3/8 LOW HEIGHT LOCK NUTS () as shown in FIGURE /8 X 3-/ 6 0 FIGURE STEP : SECURELY assemble the CAM SHROUD (6) to the PIVOT ARM SUPPORT () using two RH CAPS (0), two BLACK RH CAPS (6), two 3/8 X 3-/ BOLTS (6), four 3/8 RH WASHERS () and two 3/8 LOW HEIGHT LOCK NUTS () as shown in FIGURE.

12 FIGURE HEAVY WEIGHT OPTION 5 STEP 3: Insert the two GUIDE RODS (35) (found in the SHROUD KIT box) into the base of the TOWER () as shown in FIGURE 3. Lubricate the GUIDE RODS (35) with a slicon or teflon spray that is available at most hardware stores. Slide two WEIGHT STACK CUSHIONS (5) down over the GUIDE RODS (35). See FIGURE 3. Using EXTREME CARE place twenty 0 LB. WEIGHT PLATES (36) over the GUIDE RODS (35) as shown in FIGURE 3.(NOTE: If HEAVY WEIGHT OPTION is being used, slide ten 5LB. WEIGHT PLATES (37) over the GUIDE RODS (35) first, then slide ten 0 LB. WEIGHT PLATES (36) over the GUIDE RODS.) Carefully Slide the HEAD PLATE () down over the GUIDE RODS (35) onto the weight stack as shown in FIGURE 3. Slide one WEIGHT STACK SELECTOR PIN () over the shaft on the HEAD PLATE () as shown in FIGURE 3. Slide two SHAFT COLLARS (7) over each GUIDE ROD (35) as shown in FIGURE 3. Slide two GUIDE ROD BUSHINGS () over each GUIDE ROD(35) Place the GUIDE ROD SUPPORT (5) over the GUIDE RODS (35) as shown in FIGURE 3.

STEP : SECURELY assemble the GUIDE ROD SUPPORT (5) to the TOWER () using four RH CAPS (0), two 3/8 X -/ BOLTS (), four 3/8 RH WASHERS () and two 3/8 LOW HEIGHT LOCK NUTS () as shown in FIGURE. (NOTE: Be sure to route cable through the hole of the GUIDE ROD SUPPORT (5) before tightening.) Slide GUIDE ROD BUSHINGS () into the tubes on the GUIDE ROD SUPPORT (5), slide SHAFT COLLARS (7) underneath the GUIDE ROD BUSHINGS () and SECURELY tighten the set screws. Screw the threaded end of the CABLE into the end of the shaft on the HEAD PLATE () until the CABLE is taunt and tighten jam nut securely. See FIGURE. Insert the WEIGHT STACK PIN () into the WEIGHT STACK as shown in FIGURE. 3

14 FIGURE STEP 5: The WEIGHT STACK LABEL sheet (3) includes labels for both lbs. and kgs. for both the standard and optional weight stacks. Peel the backing off the WEIGHT STACK LABEL (3), line up sheet to the right of the selector opening and apply labels to the WEIGHT PLATES (36 or 37), starting with the HEAD PLATE () as shown in FIGURE 5. REFER TO SHROUD KIT ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS.

15 3 33 FIGURE 6 STEP 6: Assemble the PLACARD LABEL (3) or the LANGUAGE ADDENDUM PLACARD LABEL (33) to the FRONT SHROUD as shown in FIGURE 6. 5

Guide rods with a cotton cloth. Hand grips with mild soap and water. Frame damage can be repaired with touch-up paint purchased from your LifeFitness customer service representative at (800) Inspect: Cables for wear or damage and proper tension (should not exceed 3/ deflection.) Pay close attention at bends and attachment points. Hardware should be checked for looseness. Tighten as required. Frames should be inspected for wear or damage. Hand Grips should be checked for wear or damage Lubricate: Lube the Guide Rods. Apply the lubricant to a cotton cloth, then run the cotton cloth up and down the guide rods as needed.
