4 E 200 Classic E 250 CDI Elegance The front end has more flowing contours and has been brought into line with the current Mercedes-Benz design idiom. Particular attention has been given to the headlamps, which are now in a one-piece design with a daytime running lamps feature and to the front bumper, which has an expressive wing design and air inlets with black diamond mesh. Additionally it is equipped with a radiator grille in stone grey with 3 chrome louvres and (17 inch) 5-spoke light-alloy wheels with 245/45 tyres. Visually it shows a wide rear bumper with insert in matt black. Non-visible exhaust system. A dynamic forward thrust. The contour lines rising towards the rear and accentuated by a feature line in the rear area. The long wheelbase and short overhangs ensure typical saloon proportions. Radiator grille in metallic silver with 3 chromed louvres and (17-inch) multi-spoke light-alloy wheels 245/45 tyres. Non-visible exhaust system and chrome trip strips on the sides, on the front and rear bumper emphasize the harmonious elegance of the new E-Class.

5 E 250 Avantgarde The Avantgarde line is distinguished by particularly sporty features such as the softnose and the new 2-louvre grille with a central star. The Avantgarde line has a more distinctive and aggressive feel. The rectangular tailpipe trims are integrated in the rear bumper and it comes with (18 inch) 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels with 245/40 tyres.

8 Integral safety concept. The vision of accident-free driving drives us forward. Our integral safety concept brings us to a step closer to achieving this aim - a comprehensive approach that can enhance safety in any situation. Adaptive Highbeam Assist Available in the E 250 Avantgarde. When there are oncoming vehicles or vehicles in front, part of the main beam light cone is left out so as not to dazzle other road users. Over and above this, the control function dims main beam where there are highly reflective signs at the edge of the light beam. Attention Assist The attention detection system can be useful on long trips. Between 60 and 200 km/h sensors analyze driving behavior and can detect deviations from a previously determined, individual driver profile, enabling timely alerts in the event of serious lapses in concentration or increasing drowsiness. Airbags and Seat Belts 3-point seat belts, belt tensioners, belt-force limiters and airbags are optimally coordinated with each other. Nine airbags are integrated to help prevent injuries. Measures after an accident To reduce consequential damage and, where necessary, to support the rescue of the occupants, Mercedes-Benz has developed further measures, include the automatic engine cut-off or the activation of the hazard warning lamps and the emergency interior lighting. The central locking also opens automatically, and crash joints between the door and the wing make it easier to open the doors after an accident.
